We have a lovely stay at old nurses cottage. The room was spacious and comfortable. Fiona was incredibly generous and did everything to make our stay as great as possible!

I stayed here for 3 days for work, and I have to say that of my numerous trips to Skye that this accommodation was the best I’ve ever had.Firstly the views from the windows are absolutely breathtaking, so much so that Fiona provides binoculars and bits watching/wildlife books by the window ledge.The room is spotlessly clean and as an ex sergeant major I can assure you that I know a spotless room when I see one.The facilities were amazing, I mean the room comes with a private living room/tv room with full sky tv channels. The room has a toaster and a kettle and an abundance of snacks and milk tea and coffee.The bathroom is large and obviously private to the room and the shower is just the best. I don’t want to get out at all but had to when I reached the wrinkly fingers stage. The landlord and landlady are very typically Scottish and so kind and friendly they even drove me into town when I was meeting friends for a drink. This location is perfect and situated approx 10- 15 mins away from Portree, but very accessible with taxis or the short drive.Once again I can’t thank the landlord and landlady enough for a truly enjoyable and memorable stay. I have insisted my company try their best to make this our permanent preferred location for business. Thank you Fiona.

Stayed 3 nights here. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable would definitely return. Spacious bedroom with stunning view, separate toilet shower room and separate lounge area.Fiona and Willie are lovely folk. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Fiona and Willy were the most incredible hosts during our stay! The view from the bedroom is spectacular and we even had a "wee drammie" to greet us when we arrived! We cannot wait to come back. Thank you Fiona and Willy 😁 xx

Beautiful location on Skye. Lovely welcome and excellent apartment accommodation on first floor of the property with great views. Great choice of breakfast food, with cold meats, cheese, bread rolls to make a takeaway lunch. Highly recommended.

This apartment is exactly as pictured and the hosts are very nice. Beware though as this apartment smells of second hand smoke. The owners state they are not smokers and that this smell may be from the wood burning stove, but the smell is identical to cigarette smoke. We have a wood burning stove at home, and ours has never smelled like that.

Fiona was just the best host! We had a separate area for us, and all you could want for breakfast provided in the room, which was equipped with a fridge, toaster and kettle. The view from the window was outstanding!You really need a car to see Skye, and I'd recommend booking ahead if you want to eat out in the evening.

We had an incredible stay! The place was so clean and had a beautiful view. The bedroom was large with dining area for breakfast by the window. There's a separate bathroom and also a cosy living space where we could relax and watch TV in the evenings. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and made sure we were fed well! Highly recommended

A wonderful place with a super attentive family. Despite not having a charging point for an electric vehicle (I travel from Spain with an electric car), they offered to accompany me to Portree to leave my car charging and then come pick me up.
