We stayed in the holiday home for a few days in August 2024. From booking to moving into the apartment to handing it over, everything went great. The hosts always responded quickly to all questions.The house is very nicely furnished and has a lot of space. We encountered exactly what can be seen in the pictures. The kitchen is also well equipped. You can cook or bake without any problem. There was even a welcome pack with snacks and coffee.Access to the house is possible via a natural path. It is advisable to drive slowly here. A high wheelbase on a car is also practical, but not absolutely necessary.

Wonderful accommodation with unforgettable views. Expected on arrival and a lavish welcome package. Everything was super clean and furnished with a lot of love and style!The kitchen offers everything your heart desires, including a huge number of spices. The highlight is the large bathtub with a great view of the sea.Thank you for this wonderful stay. We would love to come back and can fully recommend the cottage!

We stayed at the Dark Skye Cottage, April 2024. It is a fantastic place to stay. We have stayed on the Isle of Skye a few times and this was by far the best place.Great location and the cottage is great as well, finished and fitted out to a very high standard. Thoughtful welcome pack and we appreciated the treats left for our dogs!Perfect base for exploring Skye, especially if you are wanting to explore the Cullin mountain range, such as Bla Bheinn which we hiked.We would 100 % recommend this place to anyone visiting Skye.

Fantastic holiday home very high standard.We loved everything, it was nice and warm on arrival and with a great welcome pack. We even even managed to check in a little earlier which was a bonus after long drive 😊 I cannot praise this holiday let enough. Special touch by the host which we appreciated as it really surprised us. Thank you so much.

We stayed at the dark Skye cottage over the February break week and it was perfect. Hands down the nicest Holliday home/B&B I’ve ever stayed in. It’s nice and open while still being cozy and warm, it’s modern, light and natural at the same time, and the bath tub is huge. Had such an amazing time. The cottage is in a great location and you never need to travel far for any of the sights or attractions. The cottage is nice and private and the views are breathtaking from the front door and every window. Fiona and Gordon were amazing hosts, the place was spotless, they were so helpful and they left us lots of nice things such are supplies, drinks, snacks and bath bombs. If you are looking for a Skye break look no further.

Dark Skye Cottage is the perfect base for exploring Skye! The cottage is beautiful, exactly like the photos, and when the weather isn’t in your favour it’s lovely enough that you don’t feel guilty for sheltering in it and enjoying some movies! Our puppy enjoyed running around in the land outside the cottage, and we made full use of the wellies provided during our washout week! Will definitely be staying again and would always recommend. Gordon and Fiona were wonderfully helpful when a lightning storm crashed the WiFi, and definitely check out their brilliant craft beer and gin and whiskey shop on the way out of Broadford, it’s perfect for gifts to bring home!
