Fabulous!We’ve just had a weeks stay at Kelpie Cottage and I’m finding it hard to describe how much we enjoyed our stay.The cottage itself is so well equipped, there wasn’t anything I needed that wasn’t supplied. A well equipped kitchen with extras such as picnic sets, flasks and rugs. It is so warm and cosy and we soon settled in and felt at home.Rainy day- worry not there are games, Jigsaws, card games, space to do art work.Linda is very knowledgeable about the island and there are dozens of books and brochures with ideas of places to go and visit. Not sure about Scottish birds - there’s a book to help.She has an art gallery with beautiful examples of her artwork and crafts which are all for sale.A fabulous week, in beautiful countryside where even the weather couldn’t dampen our enjoyment.If you’re passing by,!call in at the shop you will get a lovely warm welcome.Top tip - take a dog biscuit and Tess will be your bestist friend.

I visited here in March of 2018. It was by far one of my favourite memories from all of Skye. My friends and I stopped here purely out of luck on our way to Neist Point. I am so glad we did. Linda was one of the most welcoming, warm, bad-ass ladies I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. We saw babies being born, and were also around for feeding time. It was such an incredible experience and we were so beyond thankful for the time she spent explaining to us all about the sheep, and history as well. The crafts we bought from her shop are some of my most treasured souvenirs. Thank you!

Stopping here is one of my favorite memories from Scotland. It was lovely to chat with Linda and learn a bit about her sheep, the wool, a bit of history and much more. She was kind enough to make us some warm tea on a very cold and rainy day. When we were about to head out and say thank you, Linda asked if we’d like to help feed the three lambs. How fun! She told us the one in the photo attached kept surprising her - an unexpected triplet who was growing like a weed! Thank you again Linda for the wonderful experience.

Got to pet the babies!!!! The wonderful owner and artist gave us tons of information about the sheep farming. She has a shop full of all her different kinds of art. It was the highlight of my day.

Just spent a lovely week in Kelpie cottage. We highly recommend booking. Cottage is one of the best we have stayed in, set in stunning scenery. Linda the owner was a perfect host, taking time in her busy day to advise us on places to go and showing us her crafts. The welcome gifts along with tea, coffee and milk were the perfect added touch and really appreciated.

We stopped there to get a hot drink. We assist Linda to feed her sheeps and babies (so cute) sheep. Also we cuddle a baby sheep.It’s a nice place to get souvenirs, and talk with.Thank you!!Greg and Marion.
