Perfect spot for our single night stay following cancellation of our ferry to North Uist.Pod was immaculate,cosy and comfortable.Danielle and family were lovely hosts and let us stay in our pod for an extra few hours after usual check-out and until our ferry was close to departure. Pod is a 5minute drive to Uig ferry terminal.Will definitely use again and also recommend to family and friends.

I stayed at the Allt Yelkie pods recently on a work trip, don’t usually stay in a pod but the accommodation was scarce on the ground in Uig/Portree. However I was absolutely delighted with the pod it was perfect! First time even being in a pod it was spotless, spacious and had everything you would need and the bed was super comfy! So much so I’m hoping to book again for next month! Danielle and family are lovely people and very welcoming. Great base for exploring Skye and all it has to offer. Would definitely recommend.

The place is brilliant! Only stayed one night but very comfortable. It has a full bath with shower and mini kitchen just no stove/oven. Nota big deal. We both slept extremely well in the comfy bed. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place to stay, I have stayed twice now due to Uig Lochmaddy ferry being cancelled.The owners go out of there way to accommodate you, and the pod itself is very clean and cosy.Definitely recommend itFiona

I surprised myself, and really enjoyed staying here in a pod. It was a last-minute change of plans due to a storm and the CalMac ferry being canceled. The pod had everything needed. It was clean and very comfortable. It was also very convenient for the early morning ferry out to Tarbert in the outer Hebrides after touring around the Isle of Skye and taking time to hike.

We had such a lovely stay at the pods. They are so comfy and spotless. One of the best sleeps we had our entire trip and it was surprisingly roomy. An easy 20 minute drive from Portree.

We spent 2 nights in the pods near Uig on Skye and really enjoyed our time here.There are a total of 5 pods that the landlords built themselves, each with its own parking space. Before we arrived, we were contacted again by email with all the relevant information for check-in.The pods are basically located on the side of the road north of Portree, the entrance is a bit "hidden" as you first have to drive quite far outside, just follow the signs.The pods are very modern and of high quality, the kitchenette does not have a stove, but does have a combination microwave and oven (we bought food for the microwave from the supermarket in Portree).The location and views from the pods are fantastic. Since Skye is not too big, we had no problem using it as a base for our day trips. (The highlight in the immediate vicinity is definitely “Fairy Glen”).Since we always stayed in "normal" hotels or guesthouses on our tour, these (slightly more expensive) pods were an absolute highlight, for which we were happy to pay a little more (than, for example, in a standard hotel in Portree).

The Pods are just perfect! The best accommodation on Skye. I have stayed here a few times now. The location is beautiful with great views out onto the countryside. It’s 20 mins from Portree and right next to Fairy Glen and Rha Falls for more of the beaten path locations to visit. The place is immaculate, the little snack bundle is super (love the caramel wafers they disappear quickly) and the microwave, toaster, coffee machine facilities are ideal. Will definitely be staying again. Thanks team!
