Didn’t end up staying at the hotel. They cancelled on very short notice, the night before, mentioned they had to cancel as they are working on a project with the ‘government’, did not explain very well. I was looking forward to the stay however cannot rely on the hotel as you will be told last minute that they will not be able to accommodate you anymore and leave you stranded, with no nights stay!

I have never been to an IBIS hotel and blocked entry! They need some front of house customer curtesy training. If a customer is enquiring re using your services have the decency to answer the query not live them feeling like they'm are not welcome and hurry them out .Far cry from the opening day where they were welcome and hospitable but there was a lovely polite lady hosting that day

Unfortunately I had my worst experience in this hotel from the Accor Hotels Group.If you arrive by car the parking is a nightmare. The hotel has got only few parking spaces. The electric car charging point is not working.On the way back from the garage to the reception, no answer on the intercom to let us in. Finally one man from another business opened the main gate for us, so we walked back to the hotel.My reservation was not in the hotel's system, we needed to wait to sort it. Luckily they had free room available.The room is really nice. The only one good thing in the day.In the morning we went down for breakfast. Arrived in time, but the options what you can choose for the price, is zero. I asked for some bacon, but they not making on Sunday (???)No fruit to choose, no yoghurt, nothing...I'm really sad, but I can't recommend this place.

I was disappointed with this hotel, although I have to note that the team members here are enthusiastic, keen and really making an effort. Indeed, it's clear the team members really are enthused about the hotel and my initial impressions were very positive.The check-in wasn't ideal, I was double charged and didn't receive the welcome drink, although a refund was issued promptly and a drink offered on request. The hotel only opened on Monday, so it's inevitable that there will be some teething issues and I liked how keen the team members were to engage. Check-in took a little while, but I didn't mind given everything was new and I liked how the team members were open that they were just getting used to things.Partly my fault for booking a smaller room, but there was no desk (although that room type did have a desk in the photo). I returned to reception to ask if I could pay for a larger room with a desk, but was told they didn't have any suites available (although the photos suggest that most rooms do have desks, so I didn't want or need a suite given how few the hotel has). The hotel is still selling rooms, so I was disappointed that I was unable to pay for a larger one or be upgraded. Although I offered to pay, I'm Accor Platinum so would usually be offered a room upgrade anyway.The room is very small, smaller than Ibis Budget rooms. The green paint on the walls is perhaps fine design wise for a larger room, but for a small room it makes it look dingy and dark. The bathroom is also small and the room isn't entirely functional practically. There are elements like no proper towel rail.The hotel states it has air conditioning, but it doesn't, it has air cooling and air warming via a centralised system. This puts the room at too high a temperature for my liking and I can't change it. The windows are also sealed shut, so there's a sterile feel and no way to control the temperature further by just opening a window to cool down.The sterile nature of the room also isn't ideal for sleep, being hot and stuffy the rooms left me waking up feeling clogged up. Most hotels are bright, modern and spacious, rather than this sterile and depressing kind of set-up. Internal noise is also a problem, I'm unsure how well built this structure is, but noise echoes internally. However, externally, I couldn't hear anything from the busy road (although, unusually, I like to hear road noise, but I accept that's not normal) so there's some decent sound protection going on there.I was delighted to see a very good refurbishment of Ibis Budget Whitechapel a couple of weeks ago. They have individual air conditioning, larger rooms and a functional room design. I must admit to being disappointed that a new Ibis Styles hotel is offering an inferior hotel experience to an Ibis Budget.The public areas are bright and modern, with interesting views over the rail lines, so this space has been used well. I imagine there are some very nice rooms which overlook the railway lines, that would have brought some excitement compared to the dingy room that I had. The drinks selection at the bar is weak, just generic options which are worse than other Ibis and Ibis Styles I've been in recently. There's no attempt at localisation or using local suppliers, which is disappointing.Externally the building looks fine and it's very convenient for the Seven Kings railway station, it's literally around the corner. To get into central London is very easy and doesn't take too long, arriving into London Liverpool Street in twenty minutes or so.Overall, disappointing, especially when I told reception I was unhappy with my room. Ibis Styles usually goes for the quirky and innovative type of design, but here they've delivered something that isn't as functional as what is offered by Travelodge or Ibis Budget.

Nice staff good hotel very good price

A very pleasant stay. Extremely reasonable price for amazing customer service, a friendly atmosphere and in a great room with tasteful decor. Location is really convenient for getting into central London and overall I would definitely recommend this hotel. I will be returning in the future

Not your average Ibis hotel - this hotel has been meticulously thought out and the high tech systems worked seamlessly at check in. The botanical, light and airy feel ran through the hotel which added to its character. Didn’t feel like I was on a busy main road at all! Staff were extremely friendly in assisting us during our stay.

Amazing Hotel, was very surprised the fact it was so nice. All the staff were very friendly and I would say it's the best hotel in the area easily. It's very cheap too which is great. No complaints
