We have stayed at the old stables in westbourne twice now and absolutely love staying here. The property is beautiful and even better than the pictures! The location was perfect as walking distance to Westbourne for shops bars and restaurants and a short walk to the beach. Harvey and Cath are the most beautiful hosts who made us feel so at home and couldn’t do enough for us. We will 100% be back!Beth & Josh

Our new Bournemouth home! We regularly visit Westbourne and have stayed in some great places, but this is our no.1. Lovely modern and light accomodation with a great gated outdoor space which is perfect for those with young kids like us. (And dogs!) The stables are perfectly situated between the beach and Westbourne shops and Cath and Harv are fantastic hosts. Five plus stars.

Had a fabulous time at the Old Stables recently. Perfect for a family with a dog, safe & secure. Great location, lovely accommodation and well located near to the beaches and local high street. Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer! We’ll definitely be back. Thanks Cath & Harvey x

Fabulous stay in a a place run by a lovely couple. The accommodation is newly done and very quiet and close to the beach but away from the hoards. Perfect for exploring or a beach holiday as well as loads of walks in the lovely woods close by.

Beutifully presented let. Pleasent walk to the beach with stunning cliff top view out to sea en route. Every facility provided. Hosts uber friendly and helpful. Easy walk to Bournemouth central when we wished although the nearest beaches were loads less crowded and more fun. Plus dogs allowed.

We recently spent a wonderful stay here…. Just perfect lovely homely feel everything we needed. Close walk to the beach which I may add our dogs loved , that’s the other positive Cath and Harvey are dog lovers and welcome your pets which for us is the icing on the cake, but it’s not just the owners but their dog Dexter who is very kind in letting other dogs share his garden what a sweetie he is and you have high paws 🐾 from victor and Daphne. We can’t wait to come back and visit soon. Thankyou xx

I took The Old Stables for a great little break and try as I might, have nothing but positives to say.All expectations met and exceeded. Cath and Harvey were easily contacted if needed and the location had a great balance of beach and town, whilst still in a nice peaceful spot.Great all around and would book again.

This is a fabulous, tastefully and lovingly refurbished cottage with excellent access to the beach. Branksome Dene beach is only a 10 minute walk and is one of the best on the South coast and superb for swimming and water sports. Cath and Harv, the hosts are the loveliest people- accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable and yet will leave you to yourselves if that is your preference. The facilities in the cottage are excellent with everything you could want for a long or shorter stay. The property is bright, welcoming and sparklingly clean. The extra little touches in the welcome pack are a lovely bonus. We had a brilliant stay and will certainly be returning soon.
