Very friendly staff, beautiful café with good food. Room large, clean and in good condition, beds rather uncomfortable though (Premier Inn has the better beds). On the whole a very good experience.

Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic location for the wedding we were attending. Unfortunately, the hotel was being renovated whilst we were there (I was not told at the time of booking). In my opinion, it shouldn't have been open to the public while the work was being carried out. Loud banging from building work first on a Saturday and Sunday morning was not expected, and the whole hotel was just in a state and resembled a building site. I would never have taken my children to such a place if I had known. After many emails, back and forth, I managed to get some form of refund.

Redecoration in progress. Fruit cocktail at breakfast was sour. Was told to dress differently for breakfast. It was clean as travelodges are, carpets downstairs were covered on with plastic taped down because of repainting going on, In bed I noticed a repai Ted mark on the wall suggesting g the roo. Hadn't been fully repainted. There is no lift. No umbrellas n the picnic benches outside. The cleaner emptied the bins and replaced clean towels, yet left the taps and other facilities as left.

My wife got paint all over her coat, and it wasn’t a pleasant stay. And it was my birthday, the breakfast buffet, was taken away, and we hadn’t even finished. Very unhappy
