If you have any issues whatsoever with the room or booking, they won't ever reply to you. There's no on-site parking so you have to sort it out in advanced for an additional £10 per day fee , I can't comment if they actually do it though as they still haven't replied or answered my calls about it 3 weeks after the stay with no refund.

Stayed here 3 nights in an apartment. As this is a big victorian building it has many floors and steps so NO GOOD FOR DISABLED PEOPLE. We had room 5 which is on the 3rd floor so 40 steps up the stairs. There was a lift but this was permanently out of use.Our room was great though no hallway light working as we walked in so a bit dark when all doors are closed. The bedroom was a good size. Double bed with plug sockets each side with USB socket. One bed side thin student light. Dressing table with mirror and hairdryer which helps👍there's a hanging space for jackets etc.Bathroom I think was a box bedroom conversion with walk in shower. Small sink and toilet. The door opened outward so not much space actually in the bathroom. Let's just say our larger friends would struggle to get between the sink and door frame. The lounge/diner was a big room with 2 long windows with double glazing.Had a microwave,toaster,2 ring induction hob, mini fridge freezer, oven and travel size kettle.THERE'S NO WASHING UP LIQUID OR SPONGES OR TEA TOWELS so take your own!! Not much cupboard space but a shelf to use maybe for bread or cereal. Tea,coffee sugar was there like in hotel rooms. There's a breakfast bar with 2 stools but no backs on them and they do swing round a bit. There's a 2/3 seat sofa and an armchair. Tv was small for the room and the channels were screwed up with dodgy sky signal. But for £172 for 3 nights it's not bad. It's part of the Discovery Accommodation chain that rents the Silver Street rooms too. Good for freedom to roam but not if you can't do stairs. I'd rate it personally as 7/10. Nice but alot of effort.

So disappointed with the cleanliness ofFlat 1. First impression wasnt great the front door and windows were grubby and far from clean we had to waff away the spiders to get in to the property.Once we entered we could feel the sand on our feet and had to wipe dining chairs before we sat down... Our back door was left wide open for some reason. Then we looked at the cooking appliance and decided then we would eat out every day :(Wish I took more photos but I was to angry and frustrated.Such a disappointment as the flat is located in a amazing place and the rooms have so much potential. Will be contacting the owners :(

We have stayed at 5 royal crescent (royal discovery, flat 2). 2 years ago and i have to say it was clean, so when it came up this time i had no hesitation in booking. Sadly, standards have obviously slipped in recent years. The cleanliness was lacking and the apartment was dirty with poor facilities. The cooker was dirty and still had food in the grill from previous visitors which had not be clean. Extractor did not work and the cheap light from the extractor had no batteries in. Sofa ripped and the green sofa chairs where covered in stains. Had i not seen the very young cleaners there myself i would have never believed it had been cleaned. Obviously there had been a party by previous guests as there was still sellotape on the fire place and bits of glitter on the carpet as well as a pink balloon under the grey sofa. Dribbles of food down the kitchen cupboards, fridge did not shut properly, and the kitchen also had a smell of damp underneath the sink. The living room was uncomfortably hot whilst the rest of the apartment was freezing. There is a sticker on the windows that say if the windows are open then the heating will automatically turn off.... this wasnt the case! And even with the sash window open it was still red hot. The apartment is in desperate need of black out curtains. Bathroom needs a plumbers attention due to a wobbly and loose sink tap. Bed uncomfortable with cheap bedding. Windows dirty which given the view is a real shame. This flat has so much potential to be great, but needs management that genuinely cares or either needs to invest in some decent cleaners. Embarrasing for them really.
