Me and my husband stayed at this hotel in the Priory Room and honestly it was fantastic! Very comfortable bed and the shower was hot & powerful. The people who run the hotel could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

I stayed here for just one night... But what a visit. I had the most fabulous time. The management invited us to try a taster menu of their up and coming restaurant. Plate, after plate of wonderful food came, and let's not mention the delicious wine.I would HIGHLY recommend I'd you are visiting Sheffield, and need a place to stay... Don't look any further.

I "booked" here in November 2021. Eight months later I got this email from them just 36 hours before check in:"Dear Rich,It is with deep regret that I must advise you that we have had to cancel your booking with us for this weekend.Unfortunately, due to covid 19 the local authority have booked out the entire hotel to use for vulnerable persons and have extended this use at short notice. We did advise the booking agent of this some weeks ago but they haven't actioned this request, we are still chasing up with them to find out where their process has broken as this is not good practice.I appreciate this is very disappointing and can only extend our most sincere apologies at this time."I work for a local authority and local authorities cannot just book out a hotel at whim. This hotel was in November, and is now, advertising itself as a hotel when it is actually a council funded hostel. Their website is a sham saying it is a hotel but you cannot book. They say they are sorting a refund but it's been two weeks now. Robbers.

Lots of hard surfaces. A bit lacking in atmosphere. Quite a few dishes unavailable. Service rather brusque.
