Second stay - we knew it would be 'modest'. However we didn't expect to find dust on the light fittings, above the bed, above the desk, around the curtains, a generous layer on each of the numerous cobwebs etc. The windows didn't latch properly. We avoided breakfast during our 2 night stay after seeing a rat scurry from the dining room to the kitchen. We know they're prevalent in London, but they should not be found so brazen in a commercial kitchen/dining space in the early evening.Upon alerting a staff member they said they would continue to serve breakfast daily, and that pest control had laid bait having already found 4-5 rats on the premises.Sadly won't be staying again and would not recommend.

One star because I can't put less!Hygiene non-existent, breakfast included only cereals, instant coffee, hot water, bread and jams. But the worst were the terrible conditions of the structure, dirty, carpet full of dirt, mouse traps in the corridors!Absolutely to avoid!

Normal hotel for your money! The room we were given was spacious, but the bathroom was very small, all made of plastic, like the bathroom in a mobile home. The hotel itself is very strange, you have to go up and down the stairs, like a mini maze. Breakfast is ok. Toast, cereal, butter, jam, tea, milk. In general, everything is standard.

I would not choose this hotel again, to say the least, when we entered I just had to cry and run away, everything dirty smelling horrible, I don't know where to start to describe our bad experience... the best thing is that no one goes there and then you won't have what to seeBreakfast included hahaha instant coffee with toast, let's go you better go to the pret because at least you will have a hot coffee and a croissant. That dining room was very endearing, in which the grapes in the window accompanied us the 4 days we were there.I didn't manage to tuck myself in for even one night, that duvet... I preferred to sleep on the bed.Of course going to the shower was another unforgettable experience, I can't find words to describe that bathroom that was from a motorhome, not cleaned since 1930, at least. The only good thing I found was a good location that was within walking distance of almost everywhere.

Bottomless... we booked through Check 24 and unfortunately didn't read any reviews beforehand. I can only recommend everyone not to book this hotel! Arrival and check-in were fine, the rest was a disaster.-Breakfast: unreasonable (we didn't even use it -small room with no air.. limp toast.. no coffee!!-Rooms: mold everywhere; Beds uncomfortable - back pain inevitable - the "bathroom" in a built-in cupboard - a plastic box - every rest stop toilet would have been cleaner - the shower (only cold water) was already full of hair (so no water drained) when we moved into the room. On the whole the hotel should be closed. The employees are nice - but there only seem to be 2 of them (since the same ones are always there). Apart from that, you hardly get any sleep because of the loud street right in front of it. So you can also sleep on the street.

I wouldn’t call this a hotel. This is an hostel with private rooms. Smelly floor and springy bed. Nice staff and a very good location. U get nothing more than u pay for. Would recommend if you don’t care about how you live or sleep.

Great location - that's the positive. The rooms are caked in dirt and the 'ensuite' compartment thing is very dated. The place needs to be gutted and an electrician needs to redo the wiring (currently lots of tape over dodgy wiring). I noticed one staff member sweeping the carpet of a vacant room. No wonder my carpet was filthy!Breakfast is a joke. Stale cereal and cheap bread. Sticky tables and reused napkins. Some of the staff were pleasant but they need a fresh change of clothes.

If this hotel was in Europe, it'd be close since a long time. It's dirty like a trash bin, it's not isolated, there is nearly no network connexion, etc. Horrible.
