Such friendly and helpful staff made our stay here welcoming. Our first room was on the stairs by the kitchen and this made it noisy with sounds of dishwasher, pots pans etc being cleaned till 11pm. However when we asked the next day, we were given a new room in the separate block over the road which was much nicer. Breakfasts (included in the price) were generous and plenty of choice of foods available. It is a shortish walk to town, 20 minutes to Ashmolean museum. If we ever return to Oxford then we would definitely stay here again.

The room was really nice for our few nights in Oxford. The room even had a little kitchenette. Spacious room and nice bathroom. The staff were so lovely. The Polish lady was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. …

Hotel was great and the staff were very helpful and kind. The biggest complaint I had is that the walls were paper thin and I could hear every word, every creak in the floor, and every thing that was said on the TV. It was less than desirable.

Nice service. Since there was no lift in the building, staff was helping to carry the heavy luggage up to the room.

Good room, nicely clean, and reasonable size (for the UK). We were on the top floor at one end so it was very quiet. No elevator though so be prepared to carry belongings up 3 floors. …

We loved it, but I had to change my review. Because they confiscated our £150 deposit in a way we could not understand.

There was some noise in our room 216. Probably due to the position on the base floor, and with some disturbances from the upper room, when they walked around on the floor.||In the cafe the acoustics was somewhat problematic. …
