Excellent breakfast. Very accommodating with our morning schedule. Across the street from the Marlowe. Fantastic location on the main street in Canterbury. Easy walk to train station and cathedral. Cozy room, tight bathroom but all clean and works well.

I found the reception service lacking the usual expectations of previous stays. The room while comfortable could have done with curtains that didn't let light in. The bathroom was one the smallest I've ever encountered.  …

Lovely hotel and staff and super central. Atmosphere is great and breakfast is very good. Room very pretty and clean, however cold ish (no extra blanket so we were cold during the night) and the curtains and not blind curtains so light comes in from 6am

Shabby hotel. Room (we were in #8) too small, not even a chair or a spot to put your suitcase down. Bathroom too small. Worn out room and furniture, chipped bath, torn curtain, cracks in the wall, no AC. No plugs to charge your phone in the room, we had to unplug the TV. Cardboard walls, you hear the neighbors clearly. Smell of sewage in the narrow hallways. Meager cold breakfast.Compared to other reviews, we had enough water pressure and no stains on the carpet.Would not recommend, this hotel needs to be updated to 21st century standards.

Charming hotel 🏨 in the heart of the city. The rooms were comfortable, and the customer service was excellent. Breakfast 🍳 was enjoyable. I had a great stay and would definitely return. I also appreciated the recycling ♻️ reminders in the rooms—keep up the great work for a cleaner planet! 🌎

Really lovely hotel with a great continental breakfast and friendly staff. The hotel itself gave a real sense of history and was perfectly located in the city centre which offered lots to do and plenty of places to eat and drink. Well worth a visit.

The service by Betty and Rachel was amazing! Looking forward to seeing them again when we come back to Canterbury. We were able to use the dining area for our family dinners which was very nice. The location is great for shopping. Although a tiny bit noisy at night because it is on the high street, but thanks to the windows you can only hear the screams of the rowdy people of Canterbury from a far! Overall very satisfactory experience. Highly recommend! My parents enjoyed their stay of 4 nights!

Great location, clean and simple. Rooms basic but fine. Some street noise but not too bad. Continental breakfast was fresh and a good range of options. Staff were nice. No food options but very close to lots of restaurants and bars! Not good if you have mobility constraints
