A totally different spa experience. We felt totally pampered & really enjoyed the day. The body massage was superb & the warm pool was totally relaxing. It is hard to fully describe the serenity of the day- relaxing with views of the stunning grounds. Lunch was tasty & it was pleasant to chat with other guests. The signpost pointing to “Reality” as you leave says it all!

I recnetly visited with my wife for a spa day and overnight stay. I was really impressed by the management who greatly exceeded my expectations to make this a really special break for us both. A special mention to Ruth who truly went "above and beyond".The treatments were really relaxing and we really enjoyed spending time in the garden (we got lucky with the bank holiday weather!) and using the spa's facilities during the day.The lunch was also really tasty and there were a selection of teas and coffee available for all of the day. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a lovely view over the garden and pond. All towels, gowns and slippers were provided. In the evening we enjoyed a walk around the village and surrounding area and enjoyed a meal and drink at the local pub.I'd really recommend Tor Spa for a short break.

Lovely surroundings, but all the details are missing. Floor around the spa is so slippery when it's wet while wearing the flip flops they provide. Husband almost ended up on the floor more than once.Steam room smells damp so we didn't stay in there.Pool is lovely and warm but needs a clean.Machine noise ruins the ambience.I had a facial, worst one I've had. The crunchy noise of an un-required apron, the flip flop noise, the using of tissue on my face, the products felt average. No thought to smell, atmosphere or creating a relaxing space. The lunch was average. Quite bland and I had to add salt. Not sure I wanted to share my meal with others on this occasion.Ruth on reception was lovely, a jewel in the crown. I wish her vibe was taken through to the whole place because then you'd have something special. For the price paid it was very disappointing. I won't be going back.

Ruined a birthday, totally waste of money. An insult to the Ayurveda lifestyle, we were booked to have access to the spa and abyangha massage for both, to be told on arrival that we have missed our slot, we were never notified of the timings and were told that it would be ok to arrive after 11:30, which we did, we will never return

My first Spa experience so can not compare to others. The location was very pleasant, tucked away in Ickham, which is a nice Kent village. The team was welcoming and explained everything well. Whilst the facilities seemed fairly basic I had a great experience and excellent and relaxing range of treatments. Highly recommended and certainly did the job.
