Best pub Sunday roast we've ever had. No photos as we couldn't wait to tuck in!Vegetables all fresh and the gravy is awesome. Wait and see if you have room before ordering dessert, but they are worth the calories! Everything is generously preportioned and reasonably priced. Good value for money. The place was buzzing, but the service was still excellent and we didn't have to wait long. Can highly recommend if you're in the area!

My elderly parents-in-laws were staying in Sandwich and visited the New Inn for a drink twice. On both occasions the staff bent over backwards to help them. They are not very mobile and were effectively given 'waitress service' for their drinks and on the second trip were shown the back way out as that avoided having to go down the steps at the front. Excellent service - thank you for looking after them !

What a delight! I often come to Sandwich but have never stopped at the New Inn - well that will now be reconciled. The pub is beautifully clean, always a plus, and a clean pub means well kept beer.As a free house I was not subjected to the generic Shepherd Neame offer from most pubs in East Kent, but instead had a lovely pint of Sharp's Doom Bar.The cheesy / bacony chips were great too.I will be back 😀🍺👍

Fab food. Really fab for a pub. I know what I’m talking about when it comes to food. My mum was a chef so I’m a snob. Goats cheese salad mmmm gorgeous.

A comfortable long weekends stay. Check in was nice and easy. Rooms are located directly above the inn. I was booked in to room one located to the rear. Other rooms are located to the front, which you may hear more noise from below, but soon after 11:30 it goes quiet anyway.Rooms are simple but perfectly functional though do need a little tlc. Beds were quite comfortable, so slept well. The bathroom, again is perfectly functional with plenty of hot water, though needs a bit of maintenance.Breakfast was quite decent. A good selection of cereals, option of tea or coffee, orange juice and a good small sized full English and toast. Cooked part can only be made if there is a chef available.Overall, a good place for the price and would be happy to stay there again.

Visited for Sunday roast, pity there isn't a star rating on this, it'd have to be a 7 simply put, bang on! Didn't leave star rating for the rooms as we didn't stay, however I'm sure it'd be as good as everything else, enjoy

My mother and I stayed here last week for three days in the lovely town of Sandwich. Not only is this place amazing value but you could not wish for more. The rooms were clean, well equipped and beds comfortable. The food and breakfast were delicious. Most importantly, the staff were friendly, fun and attentive. Nothing seemed too much for them. I would definitely come back and I would also recommend the New Inn as a place to stay.
