We booked this premier inn for 2 nights as we were wedding guests at a nearby venue. The venue was only a 10min drive away so it was an ideal location for us.Cannot fault the various staff who were on shift during our stay. Very welcoming and attentive. We asked at reception for an iron and they took one up to the room for us.The overall interior was warm, some may say dated but I feel it suited the building.Overall cleanliness cannot be faulted. With our room in particular the only signs of wear were just some paint chips on the walls and paint flaking off the wall in the bathroom. There were a few cobwebs on the ceiling but that’s just me being picky. The bed and other furniture was all up to standard. We had a lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we were in the area.

Do not stay here Worst premier inn we have stayed in. Hotel needs fully refurbishing. Beds definitely aren’t premier inn normal beds and the beds they advertise on their adverts. …

Not up to the usual standard we have experienced with other Premier Inn locations. The rooms are very tired in appearance. Lots of damage to walls and doors that make it feel very cheap. The bed must have been a replacement for the original as it was far too small for the headboard/bedside units arrangement. We went to use the extra pillows in the bag under the bed as usual, and when we opened it, there were no pillow cases on the pillows and there were bugs living in the bag. Silverfish bugs to be precise. Not pleasant when you’re about to go to sleep in this room. We saw more silverfish the next morning. There was also quite a lot of dust on the walls and lamp shades. The USB charging sockets were at best loose in the wall and hard to get to work, and one had actually been pushed back into the wall box so was no good.Overall, staff seemed nice, although we didn’t have much interaction, location is good but the rooms need a refresh.

We have stayed in many Premier Inns and we booked this one for 4 nights because it was conveniently situated for the National Trust properties we wished to visit. This was the worst we have stayed in. …

Comfortable bed, lots of little spiders in the bathroom. If you arrive late don’t expect to have a drink at the bar, the decide to close early if it’s not busy. Breakfast was pretty good but there is only 1 person serving

The advert for Premier Inns had just come on the TV. I had to wonder which Premier Inn they were showing cos it's definitely not the Tonbridge one! …

The staff were lovely, very welcoming and helpful but were let down by the hotel. The Premiere Inn signage was hidden in bushes and not visible at all on the road coming from one direction. …

The hotel is tired and needs major investment. Walls and woodwork all damaged and dirty. En suite in the bedroom was very tired and in need of redecoration. We had one bedside table, and a bar stool on the other side. No matching cups. …

Not what we've come to expect from a Premier Inn. 2 nights for over £220 and the room was awful! plug socket hanging off the wall, light bulbs not working, paint peeling and cracking off the walls, stains on the wall and carpet. C'mon Premier Inn, you can do better!!!

Hotel is tired. Total disconnect between hotel ( Whitbread ) & restaurant ( Greene King )||Restaurant manager made it very clear that they were completely separate which was not what I wanted to hear. Restaurant completely under staffed & cooked breakfast rationed & no bubble & squeak although on the menu.
