We celebrated our 18th anniversary at this stunning venue and we had an amazing evening! The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The menu featured a nice selection of locally sourced dishes, and we loved that they grow most of their own vegetables and herbs. The building is lovely, and a walk around the grounds is a must. While it’s a bit pricey, the quality of the food and exceptional service make it well worth it. A perfect spot for a special occasion!

Underwhelming and forgettable food for a restaurant that wishes o be somewhere special to eat my partner was very disappointed with our evening meal. It started with a very dark car park with poor lighting and no signage as to where to enter. We needed to get a torch out to see where we were going. When we entered the building we waited 10 minutes until someone assisted us to take us down into the restaurant.I am sure using mixed patterned plates is a choice but to me it is like eating from plates that have been bulk bought from charity shops. We enjoyed the Bacon jam on toast however we had to wait at least 40 minutes to get warm squid starter which was in no way any special then a chain Italian restaurant. Our mains Chicken dish and the lemon sole special of the day was very over seasoned and salty. The extra charged potatoes were plain boiled heritage potatoes and very under seasoned. The greens were meant to be buttered greens but were plain boiled greens. The only thing to remember is not to go to the any of The Pig restaurants again. For the price you pay it's mediocre cooking.

Came for an evening meal. Absolutely stunning location, grounds and setup. Very much enjoyed the food, and the atmosphere. It's peaceful, beautiful and not at all pretentious. We felt at home, the wait staff were attentive, happy to answer questions and check in on us, and even offered a blanket for my legs when I mentioned wanting to sit somewhere warm. There was nothing that was too much effort, genuinely very impressed. Will be going back, hopefully to stay in one of the rooms next time.

This place has the most beautiful setting. We ate in the kitchen garden, and wow!!! So good. The staff were so lovely. The weather was lovely so we walked around the gardens. We will try the restaurant in the house next time we visit. I can't speak highly enough of this fabulous venue. Hopefully we'll get to stay there and enjoy the beautiful main house. 😍😍

We came here for dinner. Atmosphere, service and food were excellent. We sat in the balcony and opted for a few fish and vegetarian courses. We loved all the food - which is locally sourced or grown on the premises. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices I felt were reasonable for what you get. Will be back and would definitely recommend.

We stayed in one of the Stream Wagons for 3 nights in June. Although “cosy” there was room for our clothes in the hanging space allocated and both bathrooms inside and out were fab.||This is our second “Pig” stay.  …
