The room was lovely and although I was on my own, the Bar Staff all made me feel welcome and chatted to me so it didn't feel like I was on my own. I had a few drinks and loved the Mac & Cheese while I stayed there.  …

Really lovely staff and nice food in the pub. The room is nice and cosy with soft lighting. Everything you could need for staying away for business. Ironing board, hair dryer etc. Has a coffee machine and also nice selection of teas.Unfortunately I experienced a faulty shower in my room but was able to use the room opposite to have one. If you are someone that suffers from allergies be mindful that feather duvets are used. I was wheezing by the morning.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in England. My family stayed at this hotel on our way back to Gatwick Airport after our Canterbury tour. The hotel is located in a quiet area, the staff is friendly, and the hotel room is very clean. The bathroom in this hotel is especially fantastic, incomparable to any other hotel. The food in the restaurant below the hotel is also delicious. The hotel is cheap to stay at and there is a large parking lot, so those who have a car can park at the hotel easily. I plan to stay at this hotel again if I visit this area. I highly recommend this hotel!

This was our first time staying, although we have eaten there several times. It has recently been refurbished and now feels much more like a restaurant with rooms than a pub, but still with that relaxed, friendly feel. The room was very well appointed indeed, nothing missing (we did have the largest one!). The proprietor was happy to stop for a chat. We were made to feel very welcome by Ibsa when we arrived rather early. He served us drinks and checked if our room was available. We didn't have a main meal, but the breakfast was very good indeed. We intend to return.
