Unlike some of the other reviews, we found it difficult to fault this hotel. In fact it was probably one of the best we have ever stayed in! (and we have stayed in a lot!)|The location was good for both Canterbury and Folkestone. …

Amazing hotel and stay. A real hidden gem to stay in. Huge rooms, well presented and very clean. The mansion & grounds are amazing and a pleasure to stay in. My family and I had a great stay and all six of us enjoyed the hotel. …

Broome Park was an excellent base for visiting family near Dover. We stayed in a Woodland Lodge that gave us more space - and a handy kitchen - than a hotel room would have done.  …

We stayed at Broome Park for a wedding we were attending there. Beautiful location, room was lovely very big. The wedding was lovely and well run by Broome Park, food was delicious during the celebrations and the breakfast was excellent. The golf course looked excellent but unfortunately not enough time to partake.

So disappointed for the price! The room itself was clean but there were so many bits unfinished, lights not properly fitted, cobwebs Nd dust around the windows. The building is beautiful but everything is so dated. There had been a coffee morning on Friday when we arrived, there was still crumbs on the floor when we left Sunday. No hoovering and been done. The cooked breakfast buffet was gross. Watery tomatoes and mushrooms, rock solid scrambled egg. Slow service in the bar. Only one person in there. When we arrived no one even acknowledged us, just left us stood there.Pool and gym area is so dirty! Changing rooms falling apart. We went to the pool at 8am when it opens and it was filthy, both toilet doors broken, mould in the showers. Just so disappointing given the price of the stay. We won't be going back.

Lovely hotel, great room. My partner suffers from a dairy intolerance, sadly however after multiple times asking and getting menu items checked she still somehow received something that contained dairy. This ultimately reflected on our nights stay. The manager the next morning was helpful however and did her best to make good of a bad experience.
