The hotel need an update and renovation. The bar isn’t inviting you to sit down and have a drink or meal. We went to the Beefeater just 5 minutes away with was cosy and had a Great sfeer and very good food.

I only pass through this place. I am rating this place based on the environment/ surroundings. Never a dull moment especially with your partner you can take a walk to the cinema, go out to eat at various eating outlets.

Overall we had an underwhelming stay. Some staff were friendly but nit above average. The lift was badly maintained and dirty, it completely broke down the second night.

Hi, we (group of coach drivers) arrived at ashford travel lodge at 10.00am on Saturday 19th October and went to reception to be meet by a small man with a really bad attitude, we asked about our rooms and were told to go away until 12 midday, we were hungry too and breakfast was still on the go, so asked if we could buy breakfast, was told yes but what was put was all there is and we won't be cooking anything more, so you can have just what is! Again very off hand.So we left and went to beefeater and ate.We were going to ask if there was any chance of getting our rooms early as we were very tired and had to drive coaches to Berlin that night and needed to rest before hand. This experience was very very disappointing and not acceptable in our view, we ve stayed at this travelodge several times before and had excellent service and lovely welcome from all previous staff, always kind helpful and provided brilliant service.I later learned that this man who was on duty was the manager, completely unacceptable service. He obviously has no idea of how to run reception or speak to guests. His attitude is in no way acceptable!

Made a late booking online when we decided to move our Shuttle crossing forward. Stayed a few times at this hotel and never disappointed.
