We had the most beautiful weekend in the Bomford cabin. A romantic idyll for couples to relax and reconnect with nature.(One thing to note is there is no fridge or plug sockets, but that didn't detract from our stay at all)

Instantantly relaxing for the moment we arrived. This retreat really is a retreat. Set in the heart of the Kent countryside with a well equipped comfortable sleeping hut and kitchen/shower hut with everything you need. A log fire, hot tub and nothing but quite, peace and stunning landscape (and plenty of night lift, mostly owls) . An amazing weekend with some fantastic memories to take home. Thank you to a great host.

Just back from our second trip to Nut Plat Retreat and it was epic. We stayed in the Bomford again, feels like home. It's peaceful, calm and this time we had sheep around us, which was very lovely. We'll see you next month Duncan and time and time again - it's our happy place x

Finlay’s cabin was perfect - hidden away in woodland and with wood fire heated hot tub but only an hours drive from London. Duncan also sent a thorough email beforehand including local walks and places to eat which was really helpful. I couldn’t recommend it any more!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Finlay's Cabin at Nutplat Retreat, and I must say it was a delightful glamping experience. Tucked away in the beautiful countryside of Kent, this cabin offers a cozy and peaceful retreat that allows you to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin itself is charming and well-designed, with a rustic yet modern aesthetic. It features a comfortable double bed with soft bedding, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The interior is tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, such as the thoughtful placement of vintage furniture and the carefully selected artwork adorning the walls. One of the highlights of Finlay's Cabin is the outdoor area. The private deck provides a serene space to relax and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. From there, you can savor the breathtaking views of the lush green fields and rolling hills. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or unwind with a book in the afternoon. The cabin is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. There is a small kitchenette with a fridge, a hob, and basic cooking utensils, allowing you to prepare simple meals. Additionally, the en-suite bathroom is modern and clean, providing a hot shower and fresh towels. The Nutplat Retreat itself is a haven for nature lovers. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and there are plenty of walking trails to explore. You can take leisurely strolls through the meadows, encounter wildlife, or simply bask in the tranquility of the surroundings. It's a perfect place to reconnect with nature and recharge your batteries. The hosts at Nutplat Retreat were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that I had a pleasant stay. They were readily available to answer any questions and provided useful recommendations for local attractions and dining options. Their hospitality added a personal touch to the overall experience. The only minor drawback I encountered was the limited Wi-Fi connectivity in the cabin. While this can be seen as an opportunity to disconnect and unwind, it might be inconvenient for those who need to stay connected or work remotely. In conclusion, Finlay's Cabin at Nutplat Retreat offers a wonderful glamping experience in the heart of Kent. The serene surroundings, well-designed cabin, and attentive hosts make for a truly memorable stay. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat, this charming cabin is a great choice. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing escape in the countryside.

Fantastic retreat, just what we needed to rest and recharge. Very picturesque private plots with all essential amenities. The Bomford shepherd's hut was very quaint and comfortable. Highlights include relaxing in the hot tub to cool off during day and enjoying a soak in the evening to keep warm with a glass of wine in hand.To our surprise the stream at the bottom of the plot is home to crayfish which is a sign of pristine waters and a credit to the eco-conscious run of the place.Thank you to our wonderful hosts, we are sure to visit again.

The perfect stay! We were happily left to your own devices but Duncan was on hand when we needed him. He was even kind enough to offer his living room so we could watch the England game! The hot tub is a must. I would and have happily recommended Nut Plat Retreat to my friends and family. On Three network, you get no signal, which was actually a blessing! On O2 you're fine.
