What’s Happened!!!We’ve been having chinese takeaway here for the last 20 years. Just recently, it’s become so spicy to be inedible, garlic broccoli hardly tasting of garlic. Chicken and sweetcorn soup and Singapore noodles were bland and the Spicey squid was so greasy and had so much salt, it was inedible. Green chicken curry was too hot and spicey to eat! Plus we’ve had wrong orders where either the dish was missing or incorrect. Up to about a year ago, the food was great!

Went for dinner on Thursday night and had a table in the bar area. It was quiet as it was mid week but very well looked after by the bar man who took our order and talked us through the options. We wanted Malaysian as we used to come when it was Eurasia. Was very pleased to hear Jo was cooking and she came out and talked us through the menu.We had some sharing plates, two main meals and a pudding. It was absolutely delicious. And very well priced at £70 for three people including drinks. I was so impressed by the food which tasted home cooked rather than takeaway and they also do Harvey’s so very happy. Highly recommend visiting for the food. Thank you

Now Jo is back in business - thank goodness - we decided to try out the new fare. Four of us all absolutely loved the starters (curry puffs, chicken satay, garlic prawns) and the main courses too were very much enjoyed. I chose the beef rendang which was too spicy for me but my fault I should have asked for advice from Jo before ordering. Anyway we all enjoyed ourselves and wish Jo well in her new venture. I would encourage folk to give it a try.
