It would have been all 5 stars because booking was easy, the receptionist helpful, the accessible room comfortable, clean and most importantly spacious - plenty of turning room for my powerchair. I was travelling alone and I dropped a star for the bedroom because the heavy door was difficult to hold open with one hand whilst I needed a hand for my wheelchair power controls (and I had my rucksack on my lap!). I dropped a star for the location as the view had nothing of interest & the parking had to be paid for. But it was a manageable wheelchair ride to the seafront & convenient for supermarkets

Arrived on Thursday to a warm welcome from a lovely young man. He took all our details swiftly checked us into our room which was immaculate would’ve liked some nice comfy chairs to sit on as the room was massive and looked a bit bare in …

Booked a last minute stay, exactly what I’d expect from Premier Inn. Quick easy check in, clean room, extremely comfortable bed with fab black out curtains. Had a nice evening meal at the Brewers Fayre next door as well. Good location and would definitely stay again - just wish parking was slightly cheaper at £7 per night.

This is one of the better Premier Inns I have stayed in. Modern building and therefore no maintenance issues, clean and well presented rooms with air con temperature control which is a major bonus over the summer. Easy parking. …

On arrival I booked our parking on the Horizon app as per the instructions on the posts in car park. Checked in at the machine in reception as it was not manned but someone arrived quite quickly and was very courteous. …

Just spent 2 nights here.We have been stopping in Premier Inn’s for nearly 20 years now, so we can compare.Reception staff were helpful. Car parking uneventful but could be annoying when we paid £14 for 2 nights, my assumption is they don’t own the car park or it’s to prevent non guests from parking. The Brewers Fayre next door offers the usual menu and I’m afraid to say as a seasoned guest of Premier Inn’s, the staff are overworked and understaffed. Our first night there, all steaks off the menu and the 3 front of house staff were struggling with the capacity. The male manager was quite abrupt/blunt but the other staff were pleasant and friendly.Breakfast next day and the same manager was still abrupt and stressed but keeping it going.Do book tables when it’s busy as this pub gets used by non guests and gets fully booked or up to capacity when people walk in off the street. Our next evening was also busy and this time the manager was stressing its ‘35 minute wait for food’, it seems he was actively trying to put people off.It took 55 minutes to get our food but we were ok with this. Our last breakfast was not as good as the day before, big queues for the cooked food, coffee machine broke down and cereals depleted. Staff overwhelmed again. My comments are made to make SLT of Premier Inn/Whitbred Plc to review your staffing levels! We understand profit margins and getting more for less from your staff, however you will lose business/customers to revival hotels or Airbnb’s if the customer experience continues to decline. You seem to work your staff very hard, we often comment on Premier Inn staff being ‘Miss Rabbits’,(Pepper Pig character who works her socks off) ie working all hours, long hours and not adhering to any ‘Working time directive’. Ie If you're aged 18 or over, you're entitled to: 11 hours rest between each working day.To end my comments with a positive, we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it as a place to stop. Good location, clean facilities and mostly friendly staff.

Needed an easily accessible and non fussy hotel for a couple of nights while we were travelling. Easy check in, large clean room and bathroom, pleasant staff. Decent breakfast at the pub next door. The only downside was £7 a day to park the car!

Located about a 10-15 minute from the beach with 3 supermarkets along the walk, this Premier Inn didn’t disappoint on our trip to Minehead. Beds were comfy, spacious room, was very quiet at night too. Next door to a Brewers Fayre for breakfast and meals if required. Only saw staff on arrival but they were in the back office if required. Had 3 comfortable nights

Overall the hotel was perfect. The free WiFi is useless so be prepared to pay extra for Premium WiFi.||If you want to use the Brewers Fayre Restaurant on site make sure you check the restaurant's serving hours because they may not be the same as posted in the hotel. We saw several guests turned away.
