Excellent Weds-Sat lunch offer for £10. The ham is home cooked, sausage and mash again good. Sausages felt meaty and not cheap. Good gravy - and coming from a native northerner living down south long term that’s saying something! Drinks a fair price

I had visited a couple of Sundays ago with other family members and had Sunday lunch. We were very impressed with the Lamb Roast, so I thought we would try your midweek lunch. …

Such a charming, friendly, clean, welcoming place to stay. Was there for a short business trip and was absolutely ideal for me. Couldn’t have been more accommodating and kind…even forgot my jacket and sent it back to me with a minimum of fuss. Will definitely stay if I’m ever in the area again.

We stayed one night at Fromeway as a base for a nearby wedding, but we will definitely consider coming back based on what we saw. Staff were so so friendly and accommodating, which makes the world of difference. We needed early check in and this was no trouble at all. In addition, we are vegan and the vegan breakfast in the morning was absolutely fantastic - even included vegan halloumi! One of the best vegan breakfasts I’ve had in a while.

Lovely clean airy room with super comfy kingsize bed. Food was lovely but the best thing was the staff! Everyone was really friendly and welcoming nothing was to much trouble. Weather was really warm so made sure there was a fan in our room. Top class place to stay x

We took a large group for a birthday Sunday lunch, several children. We were made very welcome, the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely meals, lots of veg which I love.We then sat outside for coffee and cake, thank you to the staff for bringing out the cake and being so helpful.

Stayed April 6/7. Room was lovely, spotlessly clean, quiet despite being on the back of a pub. King size bed was very comfy, lovely linen. Tea and coffee in the room. …

Met a few friends here for random beers in the pub garden with my Greyhound. Lovely and sunny spot, staff were very friendly. Could easily have spent hours and hours here. Estrella and Budweiser went down a treat! Lovely interior decor too. A really nice pub that the area is lucky to have!
