We stayed here the night before our holiday and it was everything we wanted and more. We ate in the restaurant too and that was lush. |It was nice to see a nice cosy pub busy on a Friday night. …

I visited this pub with my friends. I had fish&chips and my friends they had bugers. We very enjoyed our late lunch. Fresh and tasty ingredients. Lady what serve us was very kind and friendly. Definitely I visit this place again.

This place is absolutely fabulous. Its location is divine and the service is incredible. The meals are extraordinary and filling, and I was sure I would sleep well that night. The atmosphere is wonderful with the jolly music. They came to check on us frequently to offer us more delicious drinks. I would, without doubt, recommend this pub.

This was a very agreeable stay. We had some issues contacting the hotel but they were very apologetic and sent me a WhatsApp message before our flight back. …

We stayed here as a family on a short break, the family room sleeping 3 was lovely with a double and single bed in one room with a spacious bathroom. …

Visited the pub yesterday for lunch. Extremely limited lunch menu. The staff were polite. The drinks were nice but the portion size was awful for £15.95. We had one mouthful of beans with three small sausages and some chips. Did taste good but we didn’t end up paying and left.

This review is for the restaurant not the hotel. I had the lamb, and it was just awesome. I mean, I m french, and I just flew back from France where I also had good food, and I m usually very critical of English restaurants and cuisine. But this young chef is super talented, and I would bet this was not random luck for this particular dish. The lamb was perfectly cooked, right texture. The blue potatoes mash and it's sauce was perfectly balanced and absolutely matched the lamb and the rightly prepared veggies. All in all it was really good, (REALLY!), looked good and colourful in the plate if food aesthetics is your thing, and portion was sufficient to not be hungry after. I went to congrats the cook, I did not ask his name but as long as he works there you ll enjoy your lunch or diner there.

The Bear and Swan was so good we visited twice during our 6 night stay in Chew Magna. The staff were lovely and very accommodating, we had our 14 month grandson with us. The menu is great and the food delicious and well presented. I can recommend the whole plaice and the burger.

Breakfast was lovely (not just standard buffet style but fresh cooked) staff were really friendly and it was super easy to check in. Rooms were high standard, very clean. It was just really hot when I stayed for some reason.
