Where else can you get a clean and comfortable room for £25/ night. Do not expect luxury for this kind of money, there are plenty of better and more expensive hotels in Leicester, you simply get what you pay for

This was a good experience for Travelodge , everything we needed for a good price. The staff were very friendly on a busy day and we could see they were working hard. The room was clean and had everything in we needed. We would return if in the area again soon.

Another great stay here, the outside is not so good but once your in the hotel is clean and people are friendly. If you want a hotel that looks great this is not for you as the services are old and closed. But for a quick stay in a good spot it's just what I need.

Without doubt the worst Travelodge I've ever stayed in! Situated next to a dilapidated disused service station resembling a building site, and without a hot food offering or bar, this is a shocking hotel and is to be avoided, despite the relatively cheap room rate.

Certainly nothing wrong with the accommodation however it's location and it's facilities are dire, To be fair I did see some other reviews but at the price ( Just under £70 for each room ) we had to source food down the road the petrol station has long closed with lovely bushes growing out of the infrastructure I can only guess that the Travelodge is only open as it probably has a few more years of tenure. We used it so we could attend the LAA fly in at Leicester airport over the weekend.A positive is I didn't need to pay for parking.

A good no frills fair priced motel. Visitors will have to find off site establishments for food. There are is a pub restaurant about a quarter mile away, And a road side transport cafe in a container , by one of the roundabouts, Catford, i think it was called. Good value for money.

For a basic place for a nights sleep it is quiet acceptable. Beds comfortable, rooms clean and location quiet. Internal decoration good. On the down side the surrounding land and carpark are owned by another company. And sadly the grounds are neglected . A legacy of the covid lock down. Just goes to show that civil servants don't give a damn about economic damage. There is no Restaurant on site. You have travel about half a mile to get a meal.

Horrendous experience, the staff themselves are friendly but who ever is managing this location is delusional. We were supposed to stay for three nights, left after the first night. Place is used as a halfway home, for ex offenders and drug addicts. My husband brand new £400 suit was stolen, from check in to us getting to our room. When we reported this we asked to see CCTV to see what happened to be informed that their is no CCTV. We asked if thier is any out front to confirm we had the suit on us as we entered again told their is no CCTV out front even though signed for it. We called the police to report the crime and was informed they are called.to this location often and they have major problems and have recommended CCTV to be put in. Upon speaking with staff we were informed how terrified staff are working their and that they have had their cars broken into by residents. My husband feel of the hotel bed and ended up in a and e, and has a major sprain in his hand that has filled with fluids. I have complained to travel lodge and been told they will do nothing as their investigation has ruled out fault on their side and their staff have said we left the suit bag in the car park. Which is a flat out lie. I will be chasing this with trading standards and the consumer arbitration, for compensation. They have not refund the unused nights either. Travel lodge do not care about the safety of their staff or customers, they are willing to put customers at risk to save a small amount of money by not installing CCTV.BOOK ONLY IF YOU ARE STUPID, THIS PLACE IS HORRENDOUS AND DO NOT STAFF OF YOU HAVE SMALL CHILDREN DEFINITELY NOT SAFE.We had to cut a family visit short because of this.

Unfortunately the reception staff promised to compensate for the shower not working, but did nothing. I got tired of chasing them and speaking to different colleagues on check out and for weeks after.Customer services on being emailed did nothing!Really frustrating when customers are misled.. don't promise something you cannot action!Funnily there were many people at reception complaining about the same thing. Wonder if they got vouchers or completely misled like I was.When you pay for a hotel you expect a fully working room.
