I read the review saying they got a room with the same privacy of bunkbeds dormitory because the only sunlight comes from a corridor window, so i stressed out I wanted a balcony. Turns out the balcony IS THE CORRIDOR the review talked about, and if you want privacy is only in a dark cold light room. Wifi almost does not work, I had to smartwork and I could not. Rooms are very big and spacious and the staff is nice.

Century-old building. The rooms have not seen renovation for 50 years. The furniture is old, the lighting is poor. Flat TV broadcasts a Russian channel with news, but we didn’t watch it. A sagging sofa, an old large refrigerator. Mosquito kingdom (I killed three, but they prevented me from sleeping all night and continued the terror in the morning). Mosquito nets from 100 years ago. Mosquitoes breed well in the toilet or fly in from a nearby pond. Our room was on the first floor. From early morning people, employees of the “doss house”, were rubbing themselves at the window. They could be heard and seen, just like us, if you opened the curtains and let the light into the room. There is a balcony, but it faces the dirt. The door to the balcony is locked from the inside, just like the front door. Key from the last century. The main thing was the smell of the toilet in the room, which they tried to cover with an air freshener upon check-in. We didn't like it and asked for another room. The hostess threw the keys and was offended for a long time by the “spirits” in the room. Another room was also offered on the ground floor with a toilet smell inside. And this is a systemic problem with old buildings. No elevator. We spent the night and left on business in the morning. We arrived at 11.55, and our room had already been “cleared” of us. Although they can only do this after 12 o'clock. As a result, the impression is terrible, the smell of urine, dirt and poverty. It's good that they didn't get robbed. For this price (600 baht per night) you can find better, newer and cleaner accommodation.

Nice hotel with big spacious rooms, comes with a front and back balcony!
The beds are not the most comfortable but ok.
The Staff are very nice and friendly, good location also, only a 10-15 minute walk to walking street.

Excellent hotel with inexpensive accommodation prices. The location is ideal: not far from Volkin Street and the pier with the ferry to Koh Larn, on the other hand - it’s quiet around at night. Spacious room, large refrigerator, good bed and sofa. Friendly staff, they cleaned and changed the bed sheets regularly. Two bottles of water every morning. We felt at home. Thank you!!!

Horrible dingy place, I checked in at midnight checked out 13 hours later. Would rather sleep on the Pattaya beach. Young receptionist has such a ugly attitude. Avoid at all costs

The room I was given was on the first floor. The window faced the corridor. People often passed by. If you opened the curtains, there would be no privacy. If you closed the curtains, no light would pass through.

A comfortable room in a quiet location. I enjoyed staying outside of the overcrowded tourist area. Stores and restaurants are within 5 min walk and walking street is about 12 min walk so the location is great. The staff were all very friendly and my room was clean and comfortable.
