We enjoyed our stay. The service was excellent. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast was great! Just be careful to know which one is the complimentary water and which one is the ‘for sale’ water. I made a mistake and ended up paying hahaha!

This hotel was the perfect mix of luxury and modesty that creates a very relaxing environment and holiday.The staff are incredibly lovely and so competent, they were able to help us with every question and request we had and give us recommendations when needed. The food was excellent and the views from our room and the restaurant were stunning. I loved that it wasn’t a bleak sterile environment like some hotels can be. Being able to see and hear the geckos sometimes was really relaxing and sweet.I can’t wait to come back to stay at Sala Ayutthaya again!

A lovely experience. A hidden gem tucked away on an unassuming street.Loved the use of a small space. The whole hotel felt very intimate, not at all crowded. Because the houses on the street are all crammed together, most of the rooms are all constructed to face in towards the pool unless you have one with the river view. We loved being able to wake up and unwind looking across at the temple. Not sure for the price though a more expensive room like the pool suite, which didn't seem to have much of a view, would be worth it.The staff - couldn't praise them enough. A small enough crew to become recognisable. Couldn't do enough, couldn't be more helpful. We felt positively mollycoddled. Appreciated the turn down service and the daily mystery bottles of tea were a nice touch.There were some seriously obnoxious tourists from a certain east Asian country everyone in SEA loves, known for their consideration for others and for their self control, who really carried on. The SALA staff handled them with grace. That is the very definition of professionalism.The food at the hotel restaurant was also surprisingly good and the breakfast was overwhelming in the amount.We had a boat trip organised by the hotel which was nice but the main sites were mostly reachable by road. Also had a massage which in the room which was extremely reasonably priced (950/90 min - reasonable compared to Oz).Thank you for taking such good care of us and we will certainly be back.(Addit: I saw someone complain about 'lizards' but they were clearly geckoes and I'm not sure what one expects to happen during the rainy season in a tropical country. Maybe it's considered nice to live where all wildlife have been eradicated in a dystopian city state but personally I quite liked them and I'm sure they helped keep the insect levels down.)

After visiting a rural village in Thailand, I stayed there for some body maintenance. It was a very good location, with a temple across the river and many ruins nearby. Although it is a little far from the center, I enjoyed touring the ruins while using Grab. Because it is far from the center, I was able to enjoy a very quiet and relaxing time. There is almost no parking space, so the entrance is so quiet that even taxis pass by at first. As soon as I entered the entrance and opened the door through the lobby, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow!" It was a calm yet stylish hotel.

Room #11 & #12 are right in front of the restaurant so there's some invasion of privacy and some noise pollution. So the room is not really as described in the advertising.

June 12, 2024I am not a guest staying here but.....I had the opportunity to have lunch here.📍Sala AyutthayaThis is a hotel, restaurant + cafe on the 3rd floor.Come to use the service at approximately 2:00 p.m.Order food and wait 15-20 minutes for food.The menu ordered is steamed rice, beef massaman, and stir-fried mixed vegetables.Water and strawberry sodaGood atmosphere, next to the water, looking at the opposite view.It is a prang of Wat Phutthaisawan.Beautiful, one thing I would like to criticize is the stir-fried mixed vegetables.I've never seen stir-fried mixed vegetables that were so disgusting and expensive.This size comes first. Normally, you have to add broccoli vegetables.Carrots, baby corn, green peas and cabbageBut what I put in here is mostly 80% cabbage.+ Carrots, bean sprouts, wood ear mushrooms, stir-fried mixed vegetables, 70 bahtAdd meat +80 = The price of this dish is 150 baht.Eat at restaurants in Bangkok, 80-120 baht per plate.It's still delicious and includes a variety of vegetables.It's quality. If you do this, you should change it.The name of the menu is "Stir-fried cabbage" ✅Not "stir-fried mixed vegetables" ❌Recently updated, Tom Kha Kai is very greasy.Can I have a sour, sweet, fatty, or salty taste?Even asking for more lemon halves didn't help.I'm so sorry, I couldn't force myself to eat and I would vomit.

Went to eat last time, didn't take pictures. So I searched for photos from 3 years ago and brought them to review. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was as good as ever. Reasonable price, good service staff

Wonderful hotel with a gorgeous view on the temple. We loved our room and the attention they had to make it extra romantic for our wedding anniversary with roses decoration. I can highly recommend this place. The food is average, but the view from the terrace compensates for it. Everything closes early in the city, including the hotel. By 9.30PM-10pm get ready to be in bed ;)

Visited for lunch. The seats overlooking the river had a great view and atmosphere, and the food was delicious. Recommended for those who want to enjoy a leisurely meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

Very nice establishment, the staff is very kind and attentive, we also enjoyed ourselves in the restaurant. The rooms are magnificent and the view of the temple and the river is incredible. I recommend!

Very nice hotel on the banks of the river. Very nice atmosphere, comfortable and spacious rooms and all the staff are excellent. Food is also very good and not overly expensive given the type of hotel. The hotel has its own Tuk Tuk that you can rent at ฿200 per hour for local sightseeing. The rooftop bar is also very pleasant but it’s better to sit inside.

Stayed here. Beautiful room, lots of photos, good breakfast. Criticism at room number 8. The shower faucet is leaking. In the morning there was no water flowing for a while. Please fix it.
