As an exchange student I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to live in Nonsi during my exchange. The entire residence was filled with other international students in a similar situation. We had a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend it.The rooms were very spacious (even the Studio Room) and the AC worked really well. The pool was great and very convenient. Personally I hired the cleaning service and I am glad I did. Moreover, they offer a bus service in the morning that takes you directly to Chulalongkorn University (at least when I was there, check with them). As a negative I would say that they had some leaking toilets every now and then. Either way, I truly recommend staying here.

Best residence in Bangkok. Perfect for meeting new people, very charming neighborhood close to the city center.I was an exchange student here for 6 months and my experience would have been super different without the residence and its personnel.Definitely recommend.Thank you Nonsi !!

I stayed at Nonsi for 5 months and I recommend this residence 100%. Perfect place for students, socializing is very easy!! The girls at the reception are always helpful and kind. Gym and swimming pool included in the price. Location not perfect but easily accessible by taxi and metro. Papa's restaurant in the same street as the residence is definitely an advantage.

It was a very nice experience because I spent 5 months there as a student. The structure is nice, the receptionists are very helpful and the position is also central. The two street food restaurants (Mama and Papa) make it even better.

My 2 friends and I rented a room for 1 whole year and we loved it. The rooms are spacious, equipped and quite quiet. The pool and gym are a real bonus!Special mention to the receptionists who are adorable!!We will come back without hesitation

When I first arrived at Nonsi Residence in 2015, and the area was still new to me the staff was so helpful and very patient. The room that I stayed in was comfortable and very homely. After my stay of 3 months of studying , after I graduated I fell in love with Nonsi residence and the staff. It became like a home to me. I feel safe even coming back late at night . Just outside there is food.And yes the cafe was very good but in due respect because of Covid, things change but they are doing their best to restore it. As we know Covid hit everyone very hard, we have to be considerate too. Whenever I come to Bangkok for holiday I will stay there and even 2 months. It’s so convenient even without a cafe, the motor bike brothers are so warm. They will bring you anywhere you want to go and they are always there.To summarise, Nonsi Residence to me will always be like home.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Nonsi Residence! From the moment I arrived, the two receptionists greeted me with warmth and professionalism, making me feel right at home. Their impeccable service and attention to detail truly enhanced my experience. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met throughout my stay. I cannot recommend Nonsi Residence highly enough, thanks in large part to the exceptional team of receptionists who made my stay truly memorable.

Very nice receptionists, always ready to help. Rooms are okey for the price, quite spacious. Pool and gym available. Even though the location is not very central, I enjoyed that it was not so noisy. Overall, i liked the place, was there for 6 months.

I’m currently six months into my 10 month stay at Nonsi Residence.I’m guessing if you’re reading these reviews you are considering an exchange semester and looking for somewhere to stay. By all means Nonsi is not perfect, however, you will not regret choosing this as your option. Nancy creates a sense of family. You will meet people who will be friends for life and reception, mamas and papas will look after you daily. The rooms are spacious and fairly priced. The only suggestion I would make is that they create a social area for students to stay in past 8pm.

For any exchange students considering this place – think again! The location is a nightmare; nothing convenient is nearby. The bed feels like concrete; you might as well sleep on the floor. The shower height is 1.70 meters – because who needs a shower they can actually use? there are a lot of critters; ants, mosquitoes, geckos, and cockroaches that come into your room.The laundry machines they provide are a disaster. Students have had their clothes ruined, and don't expect the management to care – they act like it's not their problem. The furniture is really outdated and old.the isolation of the room is terrible so you will hear everything and it gets hot in your room real quick. there is a lot of mold in the room especially in the bathroom. the service of the reception is bad.The AC is really old and costs a lot more then usual because of that and it also makes a really annoying sound.The curtains that in your room will not block the light, so around 6am its light in your room.i would recommend to search for your own condo or try Isanook. Do not let Chulalongkorn fool you in believing this is a good place to go to.
