Baked Gnocchi Casserole

1 (18 ounce) package fresh or frozen gnocchi

1 (16 ounce) package bulk Italian sausage

1 (14 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, until tender.

While the gnocchi cooks, crumble the sausage into a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir until evenly browned. Drain the excess fat, then stir in the spaghetti sauce. Remove from heat, and mix with the cooked gnocchi and half of the mozzarella cheese. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and top with the remaining cheese.

Bake the casserole for 15 to 20 minutes, until the cheese has melted and the sauce is bubbly.
