Collins' Comforting Goulash

Ingredients List
-
1 (16 ounce) package elbow macaroni
-
1 pound ground beef
-
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
-
2 (10.5 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
-
1 cup milk, or as needed
Instructions
-
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, add the macaroni and stir until the water returns to a boil. Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender, about 10 minutes. Drain the pasta well.
-
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it browns. Once browned and fully cooked, drain any excess fat. Stir in the cream cheese until melted, then add the condensed soup, mixing well. Gradually stir in milk, about 1/4 cup at a time, until the mixture reaches a smooth, gravy-like consistency.
-
Add the drained macaroni to the beef mixture, bring to a simmer, and serve hot.
