Instructions

Set a steamer basket in a saucepan and fill it with water, ensuring the water level is just beneath the steamer. Bring the water to a boil. Add the green beans, cover, and steam until they’re tender, about 2 to 6 minutes.

In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic for about 2 minutes. Add sesame seeds and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 3 to 5 minutes.

Stir in the soy sauce, mayonnaise, Sriracha, and allspice into the onion mixture. Add the steamed green beans and toss everything together to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Alternatively, you can arrange the steamed green beans on a plate and drizzle the sauce over them.
