Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Score the bottom of the broccoli rabe stems with an X and add them to the boiling water. Cook until tender yet firm, about 3 to 5 minutes. Drain well.
In a large, heavy-bottomed skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in the broccoli rabe and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until it reaches your preferred level of tenderness. Top with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
