Onion Soup Pork Chops Delight

1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix

1 (6 ounce) package uncooked wild rice

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Sear the pork chops in a medium skillet over medium heat. In a separate bowl, mix the soup mix with the rice. Combine the mixture and spread it evenly in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Arrange the seared pork chops on top of the rice. Gently pour water over the dish. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F (63°C).
