Spicy Cajun Shrimp Pasta with a Creamy Sauce

1 (8 ounce) package angel hair pasta

¼ cup butter

1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 clove garlic, minced

¼ cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

2 cups milk

¼ teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for about 4 minutes or until just tender. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté shrimp for 1 minute on each side. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute. Remove shrimp with a slotted spoon and set aside. Stir in flour and Cajun seasoning, cooking for 5 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat, then add salt and lemon juice. Return shrimp to the sauce and serve over the cooked pasta.
