2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
-
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
2 egg whites
-
½ teaspoon dried oregano
-
1 (32 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
Instructions
-
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.

In the meantime, brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat and set aside to cool.
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, cottage cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg whites, and oregano. Mix until well combined. Stuff the pasta shells with the mixture.
-
Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce on the bottom of the dish. Arrange the stuffed pasta shells in the dish. Pour the remaining sauce over the shells and top with the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes.
