Instructions

Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes until it crumbles. Drain excess fat and discard.

Transfer the browned beef to a slow cooker. Add in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, chopped onion, sliced jalapeños, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, minced garlic, and black pepper. Stir everything together. Cook on Low for 10 hours or High for 6.5 hours.

If you’re not a fan of jalapeños, try swapping them for a green bell pepper. For an extra spicy kick, opt for habanero peppers instead.
