A New Glass Dome Resort Is Set to Open Near Bryce Canyon National Park

If you’re drawn to the idea of soaking in the stunning crimson rocks and hoodoos of southern Utah by day and gazing at the brilliance of the Milky Way by night—from the comfort of your bed—this new glamping resort may be just what you’re looking for.
Clear Sky Resorts has revealed plans to debut a year-round glass dome resort on August 1, 2024, nestled in a private 80-acre canyon just 15 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park. The resort will boast 62 luxurious domes featuring floor-to-ceiling geodesic windows, providing breathtaking views of both the natural landscape and the starry sky.
“The glass elevates the wow factor to a level you’ve never experienced before,” stated Hal Feinberg, co-creator of Clear Sky Resorts, in a message to Dinogo. He added that at night, “It will feel like you’re sleeping in an aquarium filled with stars.”

Each dome will feature climate control, privacy curtains, king-size beds, an en suite bathroom with a waterfall shower, and a private patio. These bubble-shaped, stand-alone accommodations will also come equipped with a coffee and tea station, mini fridge, microwave, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Guests can select from Standard domes (438 square feet) or Deluxe domes (610 square feet) suitable for up to two people. For groups of up to four, the XL Deluxe domes (610 square feet) will feature an additional loft accessible via a spiral staircase, complete with two twin beds. There will also be Disco Suites available in both two- and four-person options, featuring a dance floor, disco ball, laser lights, and sound system. Additionally, an eight-person Deluxe suite (845 square feet) will be available, offering two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a slide (besides the spiral staircase) from the loft.
Guests can dine in a glass dome restaurant. Although the menu is yet to be revealed, the resort promises breakfast and dinner service in a venue with a “futuristic theme.”
Additional amenities for guests will include yoga classes, nightly live music, a Frisbee golf course, access to yard and board games, a firepit with complimentary s’mores, stargazing tours, and a projection dome that offers a planetarium-style movie experience.

Bryce Canyon boasts some of the clearest night skies globally, showcasing stars, planets, and constellations in their full glory. Recognized as an International Dark Sky Park by DarkSky International, it shares this honor with the nearby national parks of Zion (90 minutes away) and Capitol Reef (two hours away).
Bryce Canyon will mark the second property for Clear Sky Resorts—the brand also operates a bubble resort near Grand Canyon National Park, which is open seasonally from late April to mid-November. Launched in 2021, it features 45 domes.
Dome or bubble-shaped accommodations have surged in popularity recently, with notable examples including Borealis Basecamp in Fairbanks, Alaska, Buubble near Reykholt, Iceland, and Dream Domes at Ridgeback Lodge in New Brunswick, Canada—offering stargazers a unique glamping experience.
Clear Sky Resort–Bryce Canyon is now open for reservations. While standard rates typically begin at $525, the company is currently offering a 25 percent discount on two-night stays as part of a soft opening promotion.
