A new Grand Hyatt is set to open in Park City just in time for the ski season
The ski season in Park City, Utah, is approaching fast, bringing with it a new Hyatt hotel that promises to be the center of attention.
Slated for a November 20 opening, Grand Hyatt Deer Valley marks the first property in the Deer Valley East Village, a new extension of Deer Valley Resort. This area will boast 3,700 acres of fresh skiable terrain, complete with new lifts, runs, private residences, hotels, and an array of shopping and dining options.
At the Grand Hyatt, guests will find 400 rooms and suites ideal for winter sports enthusiasts or those wanting to savor Utah's vibrant summers. The accommodations are modern and stylish, featuring 55-inch TVs, Nespresso machines, and spa-inspired bathrooms, with various layouts to cater to different preferences and group sizes.
For those seeking more space, one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences are also available.

HYATTThe dining venues at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley are led by chef Marc Marrone, chef Viktor Merenyi, and renowned mixologist Frank Maldonado (known for NYC's Employees Only). The hotel's flagship restaurant, Remington Hall, will offer hearty American cuisine, while the Remington Lounge will showcase Maldonado's signature cocktails.
Double Blacks will serve coffee and casual fare (think breakfast sandwiches and croughnuts); the Living Room will be a family-friendly spot for apres-ski gatherings; and Hidden Ace will focus on community vibes with drinks and live music.

As a Category 6 property within the World of Hyatt program, Grand Hyatt Deer Valley offers award rates starting at 21,000 points per night during off-peak times. Expect to use 29,000 World of Hyatt points per night during the peak ski season.
Due to the seasonal nature of ski resorts, the cash rates can vary significantly. For example, in November, you might find rooms for less than $300 per night, but by January, weeknight prices can swing from $600 to over $1,000 per night.
