Ace Hotels Announces Summer Rooms for Just $150 Nightly
Finding affordable flight deals this summer might be challenging, but scoring a hotel deal is a breeze. Renowned for its stylish designs, Ace Hotel is rolling out a brand-wide summer sale featuring significant room discounts across its boutique locations in the U.S. and abroad.
Between May 16-31, Ace is offering rooms and suites for only $150 per night, while supplies last. After this period, rates will be 40% off the best available price for stays from June 1 to September 10, 2023. (Standard blackout dates apply, so flexible dates may help you find availability.) This deal surpasses Ace’s previous Black Friday sale last November, where discounts reached up to 35%. Room rates can range from $119 for a cozy shared-bathroom room in Portland to over $1,000 for lavish suites in Kyoto.
Although the sale is available until May 31, it’s wise to book early since Ace warns that discounts are offered “while inventory lasts,” and rooms could sell out. All Ace properties are included in the sale, except for the Ace Hotel Seattle, featuring locations in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Kyoto, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Palm Springs, Portland, Sydney, and Toronto.
Each Ace hotel boasts its own distinct character, designed to reflect the local city or community. The latest additions are the 123-room Ace in Toronto, which opened in July 2022 in the historic Fashion District, and the 257-room Ace in Sydney, launched in May 2022 in a repurposed brick factory in Surry Hills. The original Ace Hotel, located in Seattle, is a 28-room gem that laid the groundwork for the brand, showcasing art by Shepard Fairey (the artist behind the Obama “Hope” posters) and offering budget-friendly rates. (It’s excluded from this sale as it's deemed “too small” for promotional offers by the company.)
Founded in 1999, Ace quickly became a standout in the boutique hotel market by establishing locations in emerging neighborhoods and fostering vibrant lobby bar scenes that attract both locals and guests. In early 2023, the brand was sold, and the new ownership aims to expand its hotel portfolio from the current 10 Ace hotels to a target of 30 properties in the future (although these new locations won’t be part of this sale).
Additionally, Ace is offering discounts of up to 50% on items in the Ace Hotel Shop until the end of May. This means you can snag linen robes for just $88 (originally $175), silk scarves for $60 (down from $120), and duffel bags for $30 (previously $60).
