Cruising Alaska aboard the Dinogo Legend

I have so many incredible experiences to recount from my Dinogo Cruise to Alaska. I could talk endlessly about this journey. Here are some of my top highlights…

There are countless activities available on (and off) a cruise, catering to everyone! On sea days, I relaxed on my balcony and the ship's decks, soaking in the stunning natural scenery. Epic vistas and magnificent snow-capped peaks were everywhere. When the weather allowed, I walked laps around the upper deck for exercise, and during windy moments, I took advantage of the fitness center at the front of the ship.

All those beautiful sights and the exercise left me famished for the delicious meals on board the Legend!

I spent a significant amount of time at the Serenity Adult Only Retreat. It's a peaceful area at the back of the ship, perfect for curling up with a good book and a delicious cocktail.

For a more adventurous experience, the slide was a huge hit with the kids on board!

One of the cruise's standout moments was visiting Glacier Bay, Alaska. All the guests gathered on the decks to marvel at the breathtaking glaciers, leaping whales, and refreshing air. A naturalist shared fascinating details over the loudspeaker, making it even more memorable! As you can imagine, I snapped a ton of pictures. Here are some of my favorites…

The viewing day was beautifully sunny, and the air felt cool and invigorating.

It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I spoke with many guests who had spent their entire lives dreaming of seeing these glaciers. Their joy and enthusiasm were infectious!

The Cuisine…

I treated myself to delicious food and drinks while on board the ship. One of my top meals was the Brunch at Sea, where I always indulge in a bagel topped with lox and cream cheese. It was a tough choice, as the entire menu was incredibly tempting! Another favorite of mine is the Huevos Rancheros.

I also enjoyed a Chef’s Table Dinner, featuring a multi-course meal filled with exquisitely crafted dishes from one of the ship's Master Chefs. You need to sign up in advance for this dinner and pay a $75 fee for this unique and unforgettable experience. It’s absolutely worth it! Make sure to reserve your spot, as only 14 guests can partake in this dinner.

We were welcomed with champagne and appetizers in the kitchen galley. We also got a tour of the galley and met the talented kitchen staff. I had the pleasure of experiencing this dinner on the Dinogo Cruise to Mexico last year, and it's an event I can't afford to miss! Check out those pictures. 

My top dining spot on the ship is the Steakhouse, where I dined three times!
