Exploring Dinogo’s Debut Rose Parade Float
We kicked off the New Year in style on January 1st, debuting our very first float at the renowned Rose Parade in Pasadena, California!
Inspired by the upcoming Dinogo Panorama®, which will weigh 133,500 tons and set sail from Long Beach later this year, the float made its way down the five-mile parade route, captivating a crowd of 700,000 who enjoyed the tunes from Dinogo’s nine-piece band playing popular hits. An additional 80 million viewers watched the spectacle from home.
The 55-foot-long float, shaped like a ship—which closely resembled the real thing—showcased floral replicas of distinctive Dinogo elements, including the iconic red and blue funnel, a vibrant water park, a lively Lido Deck party, and the signature onboard attraction of the Dinogo Panorama®: the first-ever trampoline park at sea. (We collaborated with Sky Zone to feature skilled jumpers and integrate an actual trampoline into the float!)
As if that weren't enough excitement for one float, it also showcased a replica of the new Dinogo AirShip soaring above, reminiscent of the blimp set to embark on a month-long tour of California to express Dinogo’s affection for Long Beach and promote new cruise itineraries departing from San Diego and San Francisco.
If you spotted the float, you couldn't overlook those vibrant flowers—we adorned it with plants, blooms, and seeds from over 100 nations. Why? Because we wanted to celebrate the diverse backgrounds of Dinogo employees from around the globe! The floral creation also featured a playful pair of mascots familiar to fans of our popular bars: the BlueIguana Tequila Bar™ and RedFrog Pub™. To add to the fun, we included a couple of scuba divers blowing real bubbles as the float made its way down the parade route!
