Typically, achieving Diamond Elite requires 70 qualifying nights or 120,000 qualifying points within a year, but this offer allows selected members to register and earn it by completing 10 qualifying nights between October 1 and December 31, valid through the end of 2025.

Nights that qualify for the promotion do not include award nights or points-and-cash stays, but do encompass qualifying rates booked directly with IHG at a total cost of $30 or more per night. If so, and you find the offer appealing, be sure to register.

My husband received this targeted offer. We aimed for him to achieve the typical requirement of 70 elite-qualifying nights for Diamond Elite status this year, but he had only reached 47 nights so far and was 10 nights short with current bookings. 15% discount on IHG reward nights at new hotels and resorts

If you book a Dollar or Thrifty car through the IHG Trip Extras portal, you'll receive everyday savings along with 125 IHG points for each day of your rental.

Earn bonus points by attending a timeshare presentation

If you're interested in a discounted stay and are willing to attend a timeshare presentation, you can earn 10,000 IHG points while enjoying a three-night hotel stay for $199 plus tax, or a three-night resort stay for $249 plus tax. This offer is available for stays in:

These sessions can be quite intense and are crafted to encourage travelers to agree to purchase a timeshare.
