The 239-foot super-yacht showcased in this season of the show is named Titania, available for charter through the luxury boat company Burgess, known as the “premier yacht brokerage for film and television.” According to Burgess, Titania served as a stand-in for Mohamed Al-Fayed’s Codecasa super-yacht, originally called Jonikal. This yacht famously hosted Princess Diana, her two sons William and Harry (portrayed by Rufus Kampa and Fflyn Edwards), and her partner Dodi Al-Fayed during a trip to St. Tropez in 1997, just a week before their tragic deaths in Paris. Their experiences aboard the yacht and some iconic paparazzi shots are partially reenacted in part one of season six.

“For the scenes of Diana and Dodi aboard the yacht, they indeed filmed those moments on a boat in the Mediterranean,” writes Lucy Ford in an article for Netflix’s fan companion site, Tudum. She quotes Debicki stating, “It was a very large, luxurious boat. It was enormous, a bit extravagant, and precisely what the story required. It was quite extraordinary to be on such a grand vessel with bedrooms the size of people's apartments. We never took that for granted.”
Production designer Martin Childs mentioned to Tudum, “The entire schedule was arranged around the availability of the largest yacht.”
The Titania, the largest yacht, was crafted by luxury yacht manufacturer Lürssen in 2006 and has seen two significant renovations since. Designed initially by naval architect Espen Øino, it features a bright and airy interior accented with dark wood trim and blue and white fabrics, complemented by ample large windows and outdoor areas. The yacht has seven cabins, including two owner’s suites, accommodating up to 12 guests, each with its own spacious en suite marble bathroom.
While the Titania is a modern vessel with sleek furnishings, the team had to adapt the yacht’s interiors for filming, creating a '90s-inspired look. This meant incorporating “bulky lamps, varnished teak wood, and specific shades of turquoise and cream,” according to Ford. “The yacht is undeniably contemporary,” stated Alison Harvey, head set decorator for The Crown, “but we needed to infuse more '90s fabric and aesthetics, dialing back the super-yacht decor to fit the era.”

The Titania boasts a sea-level beach club, a pool and Jacuzzi with a swim-up bar, a sauna, a cutting-edge fitness center with a personal trainer, a massage room with an onboard masseuse, a beauty salon, and a sky lounge complete with a drop-down cinema. A dedicated crew of 21 attends to every guest's desire.
The weekly charter fee, which varies from $615,000 to $715,000, also includes a variety of watercraft and equipment: two tenders, two Jet Skis, two sailing dinghies, two Seabobs, two stand-up paddleboards, two kayaks, an e-Foil, surfboards, snorkeling and diving gear, water skis, and inflatable slides and jumping pads for added fun.
