This fall, Arizona will welcome its first Grand Hyatt.

A highly anticipated transformation of the Hyatt brand is set to launch later this year in one of Arizona's top destinations.

The Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort, following a $115 million makeover of the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch, is set to unveil its new identity this fall. This will be Arizona's first Grand Hyatt, featuring 496 guest rooms, along with private casitas and suites. The highlight will be the Gainey House, a lavish two-story, 2,450-square-foot private residence complete with a chef's kitchen and two bedrooms.

The newly branded Hyatt will introduce six innovative dining concepts in collaboration with celebrity chef Richard Blais. The expansive 10-acre pool area boasts 10 swimming pools, a sandy beach, and a thrilling three-story waterslide. For those seeking relaxation, the resort offers a whirlpool spa and Spa Avania, which includes 19 treatment rooms and a Himalayan salt room.

Outdoor lovers will find plenty of activities at the resort, which embraces the beauty of the surrounding Sonoran Desert. The property features numerous jogging paths and bike trails, with complimentary bikes available for guests. Golf enthusiasts can explore the nearby Gainey Ranch Golf Club, and there are also courts for tennis and pickleball. While renovations are being completed over the next few weeks, guests can still check into the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale, with Grand Hyatt's amenities set to officially launch in early October.

The resort enhances Hyatt's footprint in Scottsdale, which also includes the Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows.
