This New 155-Day Voyage Covers All 7 Wonders of the World

It seems like every other week, another cruise line unveils an ultra-long voyage, filled with stops in numerous countries and iconic sites. Recently, Regent Seven Seas Cruises announced a round-the-world trip that includes 48 UNESCO World Heritage Sites across 25 nations, Seabourn revealed a 90-day journey around Africa visiting 26 countries, and Life at Sea Cruises introduced a three-year voyage covering 135 nations.
Now, Azamara has revealed its offering for 2026: a 155-day cruise that will visit 36 countries. It features all seven new wonders of the world: Chichen Itza in Mexico, the Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil, the Taj Mahal in India, Machu Picchu in Peru, the Colosseum in Italy, the Great Wall of China, and Petra in Jordan.
This journey will take place on the 670-passenger Azamara Onward, set to depart from Miami, with stops in Mexico and Costa Rica before transiting the Panama Canal and exploring cities in Ecuador and Peru. The itinerary then takes a sharp turn to Easter Island, French Polynesia, and the Cook Islands, followed by New Zealand and Australia. After spending a month in that region, the ship will visit Papua New Guinea, Palau, and the Philippines before delving into Southeast Asia. The cruise continues to Sri Lanka and India, then heads to the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Israel, and Türkiye, wrapping up with a final month in the Mediterranean before disembarking in Barcelona.

While some wonders of the world are conveniently located in or near port cities, such as Christ the Redeemer, others necessitate a flight and a hotel stay. For instance, to visit the Great Wall of China, guests will be flown from the port in Manila, Philippines, to Beijing for a three-night stay, with transportation and activities arranged by Azamara. These excursions are available for world cruisers to book at an extra cost.
Onboard, guests can enjoy seven dining and drinking venues, including upscale restaurants, casual cafés, and bars. Additional amenities feature a pool with two hot tubs, a fitness center with a jogging track, a spa and hair salon, as well as a library.
Rates begin at $38,999 per person for a 160-square-foot club interior room, equipped with a king-size bed, a sofa, a desk, and a compact bathroom. Prices can rise to $156,999 for the 600-square-foot owner suite, which includes a 215-square-foot private balcony, a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, a separate living area, and a full bath with a soaking tub. The price covers all meals (excluding specialty dining at the Aqualina Italian-inspired restaurant and Prime C steakhouse), beverages (including alcohol), gratuities, and self-service laundry. Shore excursions and spa treatments incur additional charges.
For those who prefer not to spend 155 days at sea, there's an option to book individual segments (such as Sydney to Hong Kong or Istanbul to Venice), with a total of 10 segments available. However, those who commit to the full voyage will enjoy extra perks, including a $4,000 credit for shore excursions, $3,000 in onboard credit, unlimited Wi-Fi, a premium beverage package for two, airfare credit, and transfers before and after the cruise.
