This year, the world's largest snow maze is even more expansive to accommodate social distancing measures.

Located just outside of Winnipeg, Canada, is the Guinness World Record-holding largest snow maze worldwide.
Despite initial doubts about its opening this year due to health risks and unusually warm temperatures, the maze is once again welcoming guests and is larger than ever before.
The snow maze, found at A Maze In Corn in Saint Adolphe, Manitoba, has reopened and spans an impressive 240,000 square feet—approximately double the size of its record-setting version from 2019.

What prompted the significant expansion? The COVID-19 pandemic.
Clint Masse, the maze's designer and co-owner, estimates that this year's labyrinth is 91% larger than last year's version. He stated in a local radio interview, "Due to COVID, we had to increase the size, so now the paths are eight feet wide, allowing ample space for safe passage."
No need to panic — if you happen to lose your way in the maze, there are "easy exits" located every ten minutes of walking.

Other COVID-19 measures include limiting capacity, requiring face masks, and ensuring a minimum of six feet of distance between households. Furthermore, indoor warming areas are closed.
Regrettably, U.S. visitors cannot enter Canada until at least March 21. However, for those already in Canada, you can purchase your tickets online. Reservations are available in two-hour slots, costing $15 CAD for adults, $13 CAD for children aged 4-12, and free for kids three and under. The maze will remain open until March 14, weather permitting.
