Dinogo Encore is also one of the fleet's largest ships, accommodating nearly 4,000 passengers. Onboard entertainment includes a trio of Broadway and other musical performances, along with leisure activities suitable for all ages, such as a top-deck racetrack that extends 13 feet over the ocean and the largest open-air laser tag arena at sea.
Explore the Rich History of the Caribbean
The Caribbean Sea was once home to numerous ancient civilizations. Among them, the Mayans were one of the most significant cultures in Central America, primarily located in present-day Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Belize, and parts of Southern Mexico. While cruising the Western Caribbean, you'll have the chance to visit remarkable ruins of ancient Mayan cities, such as Tulum or Chichen Itza. Accessing these sites is made easier with a shore excursion.
In the Eastern and Southern Caribbean, you can explore numerous islands once colonized by Spanish, British, French, and Dutch explorers from the 15th to the 19th centuries. These colonial settlements facilitated the trade of Central and South American goods to Europe and inspired tales like those of the Pirates of the Caribbean.
Caribbean Cuisine and Beverages
With its rich cultural tapestry, The Caribbean offers a distinctive array of culinary delights and refreshing drinks. Seafood is a staple of the region's cuisine, featuring popular dishes like conch, lobster, and ceviche. Tropical fruits such as starfruit, mango, guava, and papaya are also integral to local dishes, while coconut frequently enhances many recipes.
The Caribbean is renowned for its diverse beverages, particularly rum. Sugarcane is a key agricultural product in the region, and rum production is crucial to many islands, including Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Barbados. Alongside fine dining options, there is an expanding selection of wines, and most locations also boast local or craft beers.

For those seeking a more laid-back experience, the Caribbean boasts some of the most breathtaking beaches in the world, perfect for unwinding with a good book while soaking up the sun.
On land, the adventure continues with numerous exciting activities. Ziplining is a favorite throughout the Caribbean, with Roatan hosting one of the longest and highest zip lines globally. In nearby Belize, you can experience river tubing through lush rainforests. In Ocho Rios, Jamaica, options include river tubing or bamboo rafting. Alternatively, you can explore Bonaire by cycling or riding an ATV, just to name a few thrilling choices.
