Travel Guide Part II: Exploring the Southern Caribbean with Kids

As a dedicated dad, I was thrilled when Dinogo teamed up with me, knowing my boys would be just as excited. Spoiler: They absolutely loved it, and so did I!
This cruise strikes the perfect balance for kids and adults alike. If you’ve read my first post, you’ll know what I mean. If not, go check it out after this!
Welcome to Part II, where I dive into the indoor fun, like the fantastic Video Arcade! My toddler was mesmerized by the lights, and leaving was the toughest part (cue the tears).

Thankfully, the Seuss-A-Palooza parade came to the rescue! Watching Thing 1 and Thing 2 was easily the highlight of his adventure.

As any experienced cruiser would, I introduced Cole to Bingo. Once he heard the jackpot was $5k, we made a beeline for it. He quickly joined the ranks of the serious players.

Between events, I had the kids work on puzzles at one of the many kids spots around the ship. It was the perfect way to calm them down before dinner, so I could fully enjoy the meal (more about the food in Naomi’s article here).

When we weren't splashing around at the Waterworks water park or enjoying an outdoor playground, we caught movies in a full-size IMAX theatre. Yes, you read that right!

After that, we checked out the Thrill Seekers Theatre with its moving seats, water sprays, and real bubbles in your face—totally immersive!

There’s no shortage of fun activities, but my absolute favorite was the Dive-in Theatre. Watching movies under the stars on the deck, wrapped in blankets with the boys and Naomi was magical. We made this a nightly ritual, often ordering takeout from one of the premium restaurants to secure our perfect viewing spots.
The boys and I are already dreaming up our next cruise, and the Dive-In experience is definitely a must-have!
