Slack Lines is the place to be in Koh Lanta for a relaxed and chill stay. John and Leah were great hosts, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, answering our questions and getting us bikes, ferry tickets, etc. when we needed them. Not to mention being super awesome to hang out with. Can't wait to be back! 🙂

Booked for 3 nights and never left, despite the owner’s terrible taste in music. Great atmosphere, lovely owners and great guests. Incredible place that I would definitely recommend.

An absolute gem, worth the visit on any budget.I stayed here (or, was sucked in) for a month just before covid struck, and dreamt of returning for the following four years. Why dream of returning, you may ask? First, to reunite with the owners John and Leah. Both are soft-spoken, engaging, wise, hilarious thirty-somethings who create nothing short of a home with the vibe they put out. Second, the jungle-paradise-esque location, off the beaten path and strung with slacklines, with amenities including a full bar and a direct line to all types of food delivery. Third but not last, the deeply interesting array of people that the hostel attracts. For one reason or another, Slacklines brings together the chillest group of people imaginable, and creates between them bonds that exist far beyond the confines of their time and space within the hostel. The dreaming ended yesterday, as I’ve finally made my return. Everything is as I remember, and if you do happen to make your way by this season you’ll probably find me (I’ll be here awhile), and we can talk about how this review doesn’t do the place justice - because words just can’t.

Cheap as chips and you get what you pay for. Very hippy and relaxed vibe with english staff who are very helpful. It is slightly out of the way so i would recommend coming if you have transport. The staff are able to sort you out with hire mopeds too. The bar is cheap and has a good vibe to it all day. Very friendly guests during my stay. Would recommend to a slightly adventurous friend.
