We loved our time at the Mellow Mango! The rooms were basic but well styled and more than comfortable. The grounds were very well kept and the pool area very nice for relaxing and a cold dip.The staff were very attentive and always on hand when you needed. We virtually had the resort to ourselves so breakfast was almost set menu, but delicious. Scooters easily hired from the resort to explore and get around. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by and also short walk access to the beach.The animals were a nice touch as well and had plenty of visits from the cats!! Would definitely recommend staying here if you're in Koh Lanta!

The Mellow Mango Resort is easily accessible and right on the beach. It consists of small cabins/bungalows, which are very clean and tidy. The beds are comfortable and quite large. The owner is very nice and takes care of the customers' needs. We always felt very comfortable and could simply relax. During the rainy season we even got a free room upgrade and had the resort almost to ourselves.

This hotel is a haven of peace and kindness. The bungalows are pretty, practical and well maintained. The nearby beach allows you to swim, go out, have massages and see the sunset. The swimming pool is nice and pleasant and always cleaned. The garden is magnificent, with birds, chickens and cats which are present but discreet. The location is ideal because not far from the port and the south and its beaches. The breakfasts are very good and the restaurant meals delicious. The team is kind, attentive and not just there to do their job, there is real involvement.. I recommend +++

Love this place - since going there I've spoken to others that have been there and said how lovely it is.A really nice spot centrally on the West coast of the island, it's a collection of small bungalows with a common area for reception, dining and a small pool. The accommodation is basic but nice, the food is superb, but the service is the jewel in the crown. Jum is a really lovely host, really attentive, and makes an excellent Long Island Iced Tea!Really recommend as a relaxed base, especially if you need to ground yourself and get back to basics.Jum, if you are reading this, thank you so much!! :)

Agree with Rian's previous review. It was also nice that the scooters were ready. Manager (Jum?) is very hospitable. My family was very happy with the cheese for breakfast😀

Wow, what a fantastic place this was. What Sabine and Johan have achieved here in such a short time is really great. So serene, everything so neatly taken care of. The staff also so super helpful.We could also eat here in the evening, delicious pad tai and it was also very pleasant.Mellow Mango is highly recommended if you stay on Koh Lanta.

It was incredible; we enjoyed every second at this resort. From the food to the drinks, the pool, and the people, everything was fantastic. Initially, we booked for 3 nights, but we extended our stay by one more night because we didn’t want to leave. It was truly lovely, and anyone planning to stay in Lanta should definitely consider this resort.A special thank you to Jum, who was exceptionally wonderful to us! We will miss you all and we will definetly come back!

Our experience at the Mellow Mango Resort was truly unique! It felt like a peaceful and serene oasis. The hosts were incredibly lovely and helpful, the chef treated us to delicious meals, and JUM, who mainly looked after us at the resort, went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The location was great, the garden and pool were stunning, and the rooms were beautifully decorated and charming. We wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

The Mellow Mango is a very beautiful hotel offering good standard bungalows. The location is ideal and the nearby beach, even if it is not the most beautiful, is nice for enjoying the sunset. The place is very quiet, unlike other places which overlook directly the sea. The breakfast is good and plentiful even if it lacked variety. The food for lunches and dinners is also enjoyable and inexpensive! The hosts and staff are very kind and welcoming even if we would have appreciated if the owners had introduced themselves when we arrived. We had to guess. Same for the access path to the beach...Cleaning was not done on certain days, but we informed them and it was resolved.The garden is very nicely decorated! We love plants, chickens, roosters and cats 🥰 The swimming pool is refreshing, but quite simplistic.The only downside is scooter rental. Although they were OK with renting one to us initially, we clarified to them that we had never driven one. They then turned away and did not want to rent it to us. No worries we can figure it out. We went to a rental company nearby. However, the next day, a couple made the same remark, and were allowed the scooters after the owners explained to them how to drive them. We didn't really understand this little discrimination (even if I think the owners weren't aware of it, the couple having spoken directly with them, and us with a member of the staff)Also note that there are a lot of mosquitoes. Although it is not their fault, we would have liked them to warn us when we arrived at least...

This a gem. Cute and cozy bungalow style rooms with air conditioning. It looks like a little sanctuary with birds chirping. The host Sabine was super nice and helped with every one of our requests. If you’re going to this island, this is very much the place you would want to stay at for comfort and peace of mind.

The Mellow Mango is a real paradise on Koh Lanta. The beautiful garden, refreshing pool and nice bungalows are all wonderful. The Dutch owners are very friendly as well as the staff. The breakfast was super fresh and tasty. The beach is on walking distance and there are different bars and restaurants closeby. We recommend!!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The Mellow Mango really felt like home to us and with the house by the pool our 4-year-old son could move freely around the resort!The room is tastefully decorated with wonderful beds, a rich breakfast and extensive choice of lunch dishes and staff who answer all questions and help with arranging excursions and transport.Thanks for the hospitality!The only minor downside is that you can see the sea but you are not directly on it, but we knew this and you can get there easily via a path

We loved staying at the Mello Mango, the rooms were so spacious and the bed is the comfiest we’ve slept on within 6 months travelling. It’s so quiet and peaceful with a lovely pool. We had to amend our stay and the owner was so helpful and friendly, could not recommend enough!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel complex and would like to share my experience. From the start I was impressed by the beauty and cleanliness of the entire facility.The hotel complex impresses with its well-kept appearance and inviting ambience. The slightly cool pool in particular provided pleasant refreshment and relaxation on hot days. Swimming in the pool with a view of the surrounding area was really a pleasure.Another advantage of this hotel complex is its proximity to the beach. Only a few steps separate the hotel from the sea, making it an ideal place for beach lovers.The ability to shuttle back and forth between the pool and the beach made for an unforgettable vacation experience.Overall, I can warmly recommend this hotel complex.If you are looking for accommodation that combines beauty, cleanliness, relaxation and proximity to the beach, you will definitely find it here.There is also an outside shower for the pool area. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the shower head in the room. Little things that I notice as a German craftsman but are not bad.It was an unforgettable stay and I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Place is fine. Rooms are clean, but I found it a bit overpriced for what you get. Do not think of getting any free complimentary items in comparison to other places of the same range throughout Thailand.Some of the problems started though as soon as rain arrived (and luckily it was for 2 days only):- the road to the resort did not have any asphalt, meaning it became muddy and you would get dirty just by walking- staying in the room meant stay with nothing to do since there was no tv- wifi signal was not that strong but at least we had gigas- the hotel did not have hairdryers for all the guests... We had to ask other guests to lend their personal one to us to dry our hairThis said breakfast was OK. I would not recommend buying from them any tour since you can get cheaper elsewhere

Very poor room for the price. I paid around 130,000 won, but I don't know why the price was like this... The room size listed on the site was 30m, but it was less than half that size. At other times, it is around 50,000 won, but this price is reasonable. Room rates can only be paid in cash. They kindly explained the location of the ATM and said it was located closer. The swimming pool smelled like bleach. The room had a pool view, but I really regretted it because of the people talking at the pool.
